Great breakfast, lovely hosts, perfect position on the river. Able to fish (needed to get a permit from tourist office in St Nicolas des Eaux) beautiful little village, very picturesque. The tourist train passes maybe 4/5 times a day, not during the night, lovely sight.

This quaint little hotel is just perfect right in the middle of town with shops bars cafes all on the doorstep private parking in the large courtyard garden we were cycling and the two sisters who run it couldn't have been more helpful found a safe place in the garden which is gated for storage for the bikes bed was luxurious and we overlooked the town square but you could not hear a sound when windows closed excellent breakfast provided toaster and egg boiling machine provided with proper china cups and saucers huge for a nice big cup of tea cold meat cheese's cake and of course baguette jams and butter friendly ladies and spoke good English there was also a lift which was handy as had panniers and bags to take off the bike's there was even a bar in Thier lounge which was nice beer off the pump massive shower room and toilet ensuite well worth a stay well done ladies a perfect home from home
