The room was very pleasant, clean with a modern bathroom.
Excellent breakfast with lots of choice.
The dinner was outstanding - we ate outside under an enormous linden tree, with birds singing. So it was a lovely setting.

Excellent, delicious local breads and jams for breakfast, very happy to cater for us being vegan and cooked us a delicious 3-course homemade dinner which was fantastic. Very friendly family owners who looked after our every need.

Ideal location in a sleepy French village. Just perfect. The whole experience from meeting the hosts to saying goodbye was exceptional. Greeted with a glass or two of wine. Relaxing chat and sharing experiences. Felt comfortable, relaxed, invited, warm, valued and trusted. The accommodation is beyond belief, just the perfect place. The hosts enquired regarding menu options at a nearby restaurant. Above and beyond. I will have no doubt I will be using the accommodation again. I have no problem recommending Les Grues.
Regrettably a very negative review. Wheelchair bound Veronique got us ,the guests ,to almost do everything to command ,especially preparing the evening meal .I ended up taking 2 hours to make my own meal and my partner , to escape the chaotic dirty kitchen , cut the grass in order to get away.
Veronique is very loud,relies on others to help run this B and B, and yet we wanted to help . But this is not what we expected and we do not recommend in this instance , especially if you were expecting a peaceful and romantic stay in rural France. Another thing. ------- the location map is totally wrong.
