The rural location was perfect however 4km from a small village. The accommodation was roomy, clean and just perfect with a great pool. Chickens and duck roamed freely around the property. The host was charming and between my poor french and her English we understood each other in the end when there was a misunderstanding about an additional bed. However it was no problem and was sorted without fuss..I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Beautiful castle with amazing host. She has the best recommendations for restaurants, places to go around the area. The hosts were so kind, so welcoming. It feels like staying at your grandparents' place for a holiday.

It’s a different experience to the norm, something to try with the kids, being in the middle of fields, close to different tiny towns, a river… and lots of silence in the night (listening to the church bells and wind only)

The chateau was a great, historical place to stay. The dinner was excellent and the hosts wonderful to chat with. We really enjoyed talking with them and finding out about the history of the castle. The games room was great and the tour of the chateau was excellent.

Very quiet and not really worth visiting unless en route to somewhere else. Surprisingly for a Wednesday in mid August, high season, none of the main restaurants were open. Only an Asian takeaway and pizza place were available. However this proved a blessing in disguise as we had a delicious freshly prepared and perfectly cooked burger with chips in Café de la Place - highly recommended.
