A great choice for an overnight stay. Close to the highway, nicely decorated. A bit smaller room, but totally comfortable, cozy, quiet and clean.

Generously sized family room. Excellent buffet breakfast.
The room was much larger than I had expected, which was fantastic. Well laid out with plenty of space for suitcases, etc. The bed was a great size, and very comfortable. Extra bedding and pillows were available. Loved that there was a bathtub, especially as the weather was freezing and we had a long drive prior to arrival. Staff were friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was very tasty. We enjoyed breakfast as well.
The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful! Nicolas also arranged an amazing champagne dégustation for us with a grand cru producer otherwise unknown to us (Simon Michelot) - amazing stuff. The town of Matougues is rather sleepy, but you're close to the Côte des Blancs and so many other great places. A car is practically necessary though. Nicholas's tip sheet is excellent...
Convenient stop off returning to UK. Very large comfortable bed. Restaurant on sight serving superb food, if a little expensive. Adjoining boulangerie providing usual excellent French breads, pastries and cakes for breakfast if you don't opt for the hotel option.
In spite of being adjacent to a main road the hotel was quiet. A well landscaped courtyard was a lovely place to relax with an aperitif! The effect of COVID has diminished the menu of the restaurant which used to be renowned for its use of truffle.
The hotel was adorable and a fantastic value for the money. We stayed in a family suite and the children loved that their rooms were in an upstairs room with separate twin beds. the reception and staff were very accommodating.
easily accessed off A26, comfortable spacious room and excellent dinner. Can buy breakfast at bakery next door if wanting to head off on autoroute or you can have a more leisurely breakfast in hotel
Excellent hotel , restuarant and breakfast
Did not have our dog but some guests did.Great for them as bedrooms lead out onto a courtyard on ground floor.Perfect.Would certainly recommend.
This is a real ‘find’ - a gorgeous hotel with a fabulous restaurant. It’s very popular with locals so book in advance. The staff are all very friendly and professional.
