A great bike-friendly option..The staff was wonderful and check in was easy. The fellow at reception was a huge help - possibly the best customer service we have experienced in France so far. A good stay!

Not much happening.
Not much happening. Not many places to eat especially if you want to sit outside - we had to as we have a dog. Two nice places to eat and they are next to each other - The Creperie Bretonne (where we ate and had great Gallettes and crepes) and a Pizza restaurant (don’t know the name) - both extremely busy - think you had to book for the pizza one. Managed to park our car in the same side street just feet away - we had a loaded car as en route south and wanted to leave it where we could see it. Visited Marmande as staying at Originals City Hotel which has a great location less than a minute off the autoroute and is excellent. However we sat and had a chat with some great professional singers from Paris who were competing in the 35th MusicFestival in Marmande - and one of them won it!

The well laid-out town centre belies the rather mundane entrance in to the town via the usual French strip development approach to commercial and industrial development.
Good separation of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
This is the most beautiful house. An exceptionally stylish and unique place to stay in Marmande - unfortunately, we only had time for one night, but would have extended our trip if we could. The host was so welcoming and made us feel at home, provided a lovely breakfast in the morning and was very happy to chat with us about the town and his amazing home. They have a spa at the property, too and when we return, we,ll be sure to book into the hammam and for a massage! A perfect place to stay in a beautiful city.
Travelling from north to south of France this hotel is perfect for a stopover. It is located right off the motorway, parking outside, dinner available up to 9pm at a very reasonable price. Air con on the rooms which were very spacious and spotlessly clean with family rooms available. Breakfast was good and staff are very friendly. Definitely stay again.
Great location for overnight stop as walk you can supermarket. Good for us as a big Le Clerc with Lpg fuel .
We had 3 dogs with us, hotel good as room ground floor and could walk straight out with dogs . Liked that we had tea/ coffee making facilities in the room.
This hotel offers excellent value for money. The price paid is well worth that which is provided. Acceptable breakfast. The rooms are cleaned daily which doesn't happen at some other hotels.
A perfect overnight stay. Very friendly and welcoming . Great value for money. Very clean and pleasant decor. We were not biking but this hotel obviously was catering really well for cyclists.
