The friendly staff was helpful and i was particularly happy they spoke english very well. My french language skills are poor and communicating in english makes things so much easier. The room and bathroom were clean and the beds were good.
I slept very well. The hotel is good enough for a one night stay. Hotel's location is good too. Little to no city noise.
Note to motorcycle riders: Metropol hotel has a very spacious and closed garage to park your motorcycle safely. But keep in mind, you need to order parking lot separately. Metropol charges a small fee for the parking, but hey your motorcycle is worth it.

I only stayed one night before heading back to the UK, but the hotel was really nice. The staff were friendly, and the hotel is situated really close to a lot of bars and places to eat.
Parking was on the road, and was free which was a bonus and there was plenty of room to park our large pickup.
the hotel is also really close to the beach.
the channel tunnel is only a short drive away too so it is excellent if you are travelling early.
We loved it all!
Friendly owners, cute little doggie.

What a brilliant place to stay!
What a brilliant place to stay! This kind of houses and interiors can be usually seen in magazines such as Art et Decoration. The owners are very friendly and warm, and happy to give good advice about where to go, eat and what to see. The property is very clean, calm and ideal to escape from the city. We will definitely recommend to friends.
