The owner toldd us we booked a Booking.com room and I wouldn't fit into the bed of this room, we could arrange a different room, with a bed without a feetboard. We had to pay extra.

Host Severine made us feel more than welcome. The pool was great for the kids. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with some home made jams. 7 minute drive from/to the A10, so perfect stop-over.

We stayed on route to the ferry to St Maro, its a rural property which was nice and satnav found it easily not far from the route to St Maro. This property fit our requirements, reasonably priced parking and welcomed dogs, bedroom a little dated decore wise but clean and excellent bed and breakfast, plus a lovely host. You pay for what you get and it was a lovely stay at a good price, enjoyed it and would and will visit again.

Marcillac is a charming cosy hotel in the countryside. Unfortunately, we only spent one night there because we used it as a resting point to continue our trip of 1700 km. Nevertheless, we noticed that it is a beautiful and quiet place, and we definitely would like to come back shortly. The hotel's personnel were very kind and friendly; they allowed us to arrive close to midnight (11:40 PM). They were in communication with us, keeping track of our location. By the time we arrived, we had got surprised they were awake there waiting for us. The next morning breakfast was served on a lovely terrace, and the service was excellent! I recommend this place to any person who wants to visit that region in France.
