We got a room upgrade during our stay, it was really kind of the hotel. The hotel has a modern, great design, the pool is amazing, rooms are very clean and comfortable. Bar was well equipped.

This was a quick stop for us at the end of the GR20 and was a great haven to explore Calvi from and relax. It is very well situated in the city and the rooms are a good size.
Hotel Belvedere is located in the heart of Calvi and just 100 meters away from the commercial port and beach. Set at the foot of the citadel, the hotel offers views of the sea and the gulf.

Location is great (very close from the Citadel, the port and the charming street of Calvi) and the staff was nice and helpfull.

- The staff was nice and they provided equipment based on our needs (e.g. hair dryer was not a standard bathroom equipment but you could get it at the reception)
- We did not buy breakfast in the accommodation but near there was a very good bakery
- There was a big parking place at the hotel
- The hotel was near the beach but quite far from the city centre - if you want to walk there, it takes ca 25 minutes

Our experience is, that all beaches in towns are not worth to spend more time, but the beaches outside towns with little service are wonderful and the Lumio is perfect deal to stay in quiet location with driving distance of 30 mins to all of them.
There is also good kayak rental service in Lumio with very nice people, we enjoyed that.
One more thing : In hotel complex near the sea, maybe 1000m from the location, they did some night show we could hear, that was pretty annoying.
Lovely location to drive to nearby villages.
Local bar 1 min walk away -- so breakfast/ meals are easy in village and 10 min drive to Calvi for beaches, nightlife if needed.
There was quite a bit of local music on offer- at local bar/ church - which was great to return to after days out.
There is a friendly tabac with essentials and more ( enough to cook with) 2 min walk up hill.
The apartment is tastefully decorated, very comfy with great view.
We hope to return at some point as it was ideal place to stay for us.
We booked the hotel for a stay close to Calvi, and we had a very pleasant stay. We also got a room upgrade to a more spacious room. The beds and facilities were comfortable and the staff was also very nice and accommodating. There are several electric car charging stations (20 EUR/charge) available, as well as parking.
We found the breakfast buffet very nice. We also booked a table at the restaurant, which did not disappoint for 1 Michelin star.
The pool area is very nice, but a little noisy from the road.
The house is very unique and beautiful, facing the sea and in a secluded location. The decoration was very trendy and simple at the same time and the pool is amazing. It’s a perfect house to rent with a lot of friends or family to spend a few days. Better than to rent only one bedroom as you will then have to share the common spaces (kitchen living room and swimming pool). Only 20minutes away from Calvi.
A truly outstanding dinner in the hotel restaurant was one of the highlights of our 8 days in Corsica. The hotel was easy to find, our room was spacious & comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly & professional. The quality of the pool and its surrounds came as a very pleasant surprise too. But the restaurant service & cuisine were the best things of all.
Incredible position and 230 degree views to mountain and Calvi on the sea (fully supports the name), great infinity pool with views and location close to Calvi etc but set away from crowds in the beautiful countryside

The studio and its lovely terrace were great as a base for exploring Calvi and Sant'Ambroggio.
