Lourdes is heaven on earth, where one may reflect and pray to Our Lady of Nottre Dame. Lourdes offers a variety of shops from souvenirs to exquisite and fine jewellery and French Cuisine. It is a safe place, where one can enjoy not only walks by the river Gave banks in the Sanctuary but one can stroll along the streets and admire the houses and the scenery. I highly recommend PANORAMA hotel as well as Casa Italiana and Le Bodegon for a very fine French Cuisine lunch or dinner. Will visit again Lourdes in the coming days for a Pilgrimage with the Malade as voluntary work and then revisit on a private tour in October.

If you are Catholic, or interested in the visions of the Lord’s Mother, you should go to Lourdes. You should ignore the hype, the 50 shops selling rosaries and little statues of the Virgin Mary, go the Domaine early in the morning before the rest of the tourists and pilgrims, and make the place your own. Go to the information centre and get a list of the mass times for the week as they are said in multiple languages every day. Go to the international mass and witness the arrival of 150 priests - the music is always amazing for this mass. Go to the torchlight procession and stand on the arch. Be wowed by the number of school kids who give up their holiday to go and give service to the elderly and infirm. Oh - and have coffee at the saint Sauveur. Great staff!

A very rustic town with a medieval vibe.
A very rustic town with a medieval vibe. Most people who visit Lourdes are Catholic Pilgrims (like us). You can see the faith of the visitors. The sanctuary offers a Torchlight Procession activity every evening which we found very moving.
The locals can understand English perfectly well.

Lourdes is great place to be, and get in touch with God and your faith, for spiritual renewal. It has many sites of spiritual significance and such activities too.
Its also a good place to rest from your busy life. Its main attractions are the spiritual side and thus the shopping centre offers a wide variety of products to complement them. It may be an ideal retreat for you. And mind you, it is a busy place all day every day, thats how much it is appreciated.
Me and my partner stayed here for two nights. I was proposing to her the first day. I had communicated with the hotel to assist me with making it a surprise and they went above and beyond to make this happen! The level of service is awesome. They are friendly and respectful staff. The English language is a barrier in most places in France, but here the staff can speak English. The room is excellent and very clean. The location is perfect, only walking distance to the church. We definitely recommend a stay here and we will certainly come back.
Hotel Continental was actually closed, but we were given a room at Hotel Solitude, which was just beside Hotel Continental.
We only stayed for 2 nights. The location to the Basilica or Lourdes was very close, just a short walk. The room was bigger than I expected. It had a balcony where you could see street level neighborhood. The staff spoke english and were very accomodating. The elevator was an ample size for a wheelchair. The restaurant has a really beautiful view of the mountains and river.
The staff were uniformly absolutely excellent. Super-polite but also helpful and welcoming, I was amazed. The hotel's in a great location, on the river, but on the town side of Lourdes (better for restaurants). My "Superior" room was large, quiet, had a nice view and was comfortable. Just what I needed. The internet was super-fast too. I liked having a fridge and kettle, I made good use of both.
Great location a few minutes away from the most important places to visit
Very nice hotel owner who cares with all her heart about each of her guests.
A very tasty breakfast that heralds a beautiful upcoming day in the beautiful place of Lourdes
The heart of France beats in this small hotel
Thank you, we recommend and maybe someday we will come back
Clean and very nearby to the sanctuary. Ambience was excellent. Great staffs to assist us in all aspects of concern. Especially Manon and Zazar they were exceptionally informative and helpful in our experience and stay in Lourdes. Will definitely recommend to family and friends to stay at this Hotel. Very Manon and Zazar are like family to us.
I ve been to Lourdes few yrs ago. My First time to stay at Appart’hotel Leperin. Everything is very good. Staff, room, location, all great. I Will definitely stay here again and will recommend to my friends and family!! The front lady Patricia is well knowledgeable. She’s helpful! 💯 % 👍
The breakfast is not I’m used to having in other hotels. Room is very clean. The view from our room is amazing. If the intention of coming there is because of St. lourdes the location is excellent .Also the bus stop is also nearby.
The location looking out over the town of Lourdes and the river is very nice. The hotel lobby is very good; the staircase that is shown in the photos is quite striking. A good breakfast with a wide choice including a cooked option
Conveniently situated but typical of all rooms I have stayed in Lourdes. Small, rudimentary, in need of a lick of paint. Staff friendly. Breakfast same as every other hotel in Lourdes. Bed was not comfortable and very creaky
The hotel is only a few steps to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. Location is excellent with good selection of restaurants nearby as well as shops for souvenirs. Hotel breakfast was good.
The location is conveniently located near the Grotto. We stayed in a triple room and it has a balcony, which we really enjoyed. The hotel staffs are also helpful during our stay. Thank you!
Fantastic helpful desk staff. Extremely close to Lourdes Cathedral and attractions, easily walkable. Lots close by cafés and tourist shops. Restaurant at the hotel has lovely food.
The property was very close to St Joseph’s gate of the sanctuary. The hotel was clean. The dinners were excellent - we especially enjoyed the Pyrenees trout! Kudos to the chef.
Excellent position for visiting the Lourdes Shrines and participating in the various relegious activities
