Beautiful setting and property. Comfortable and quaint and quiet. Madame Cheveaux was welcoming and helpful and had excellent recommendations and coordinating a dinner reservation for us at a wonderful restaurant. Maya the dog was a wonderful host and friend. Lovely breakfast on the terrace with amazing views.
Spend a weekend or a few days of rest in the the Loire Valley; a region of castles and Chinon wine.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, even making me hot lemonade for my sore throat. Our room was pleasant and bright and the restaurant had a nice breakfast area as well as a very attractive dining room. There was also a nice grassy area shaded by a tree for outdoor dining affording a beautiful view across the valley. A very good buffet was offered in the morning.
La Gouronerie is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Parçay-sur-Vienne where guests can make the most of the free bikes and garden.

The host - Sandrine - welcomed us with a list of recommended restaurants - hours before we arrived - and then helped making a reservation to a wonderful restaurant nearby the location (all of this without us talking a word in French...).
She was amazing and turned the whole experience to an even better one!
She even welcomed us with wine and treats for a birthday toast.
Breakfast was very rich, fresh and exceeded our expectations. It was served in their amazing kitchen which was inspirational, friendly, and so welcoming.
