Charming old hotel in a superb location. The restaurant overlooks the valley behind the hotel with a view down towards the gulf of Porto. The sunset was stunning! The food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Friendly owner and staff. Plenty of free parking. Swimming pool (I didn't use it).

Being in a location in the mountains it was a great family run hotel. I liked the retro feel to it. We had a simple but very welcome meal after cycling up the mountain pass and care was taken to find us a secure place to put the bikes. Hens in the back yard. Views of mountains in the background. Magali and Thomas are very friendly and charming hosts, always interested in our well-being and offering lots of advice on local attractions and possible activities. Very pleasant site. Very clean. Nice common area. It was very helpful that guests are permitted to use the kitchen so that one could cook ones own dinner.
