Did not expect a lot to be honest. Another hotel I thought. But the kindness and smiles from the staff and old school breakfast was a pleasure. The pool was an extra plus in the hot weather.
Location might look of at first but great buss lines to Avignon centrum and taxi from station was only 20€ so fair in my mind.

Camille and Celine make you feel like at home. Attentive, there when you need them but leave you full privacy. It is an authentic Provence home with thick walls, sheltered by trees, quiet, comfortable and unique.
I loved breakfast with fresh bread and particularly liked Camille's confitures: apricot with lavender is above any rating!

Lovely hotel in a great location with great rooftop pool & bar and underground parking. Room was very spacious with a separate sitting room, comfortable bed & well equipped bathroom - great shower & tub! Despite overlooking the road, it was very quiet. Breakfast was decent.
The Mercure Avignon Gare TGV welcomes you to Avignon, 600m from the TGV station and less than 10 minutes by car from the city center, its central train station and the Palais des Papes.

It was super welcoming, the pool was great (heated). Our bed was comfy, the shower great and we enjoined a terrific meal and bottle of wine on a Sunday night served by charming staff. We had thought if it as a stopover because we were taking the TGV back to Paris the next day and could park the hire car overnight for a stress free return BUT if I returned to Avignon I would choose to stay here over a hotel in the old town because it such good value, has such nice staff and a fabulous pool (and spa though we didn’t try that). The breakfast buffet was also amazing.

Great location, welcoming and helpful staff who upgraded room to give access to the lift due to amount of luggage we had.

Our accommodation was exceptional and our hosts very amenable, helpful and kind. A swimming pool was an added bonus abd much appreciated.
We would return to this accommodation in a heartbeat.
There were lots of places to visit.
We visited the Mas Lavande lavender farm and distillery which was excellent value and a very reasonable price. We also visited Avignon, Arles,Ezes and the Pont du Gard , all places full of history and character and definitely worth seeing.
The weather was hot and sunny, which made our visit to Provence perfect.

The warm hospitality of the couple who run the place, the excellent location, the swimming pool, the breakfast which beats all expectations, last but not least, the charming city nearby--I can't think of having made a better choice in my many years of travel in Europe.
It's a bit tricky to find the spot but your google map or other guides do known the place very well, so you shouldn't worry too much.

We recommend the apartment with the greatest confidence. It is a good starting point to visit Provence. A plus is the proximity to Avignon TGV station, from where you can reach Paris or Marseille. Christine is a special person and will make your stay very pleasant. The suburb where the apartment is located is very pleasant and safe. Let's not forget the swimming pool and the safe parking in the yard. We also recommend visiting the nearby town of Villeneuve.
A very special bed and breakfast in a lovingly renovated old house in the old quarter of Sant Angles. The roof truss was beautifully developed as a bedroom with bathroom and can be locked separately. Downstairs you can use the fridge, a large table and a coffee maker, but you are almost alone there.
Breakfast partly homemade and very tasty.
Family atmosphere with 2 great hosts.
Perfect for a day trip to Avignon. About an hour's walk.
Free WLAN.
We enjoyed our stay a lot. The place is a paradise: Very nice hosts, clean, high standard, quite, good beds. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed the pool after coming back from exploring Avignon. Avignon is a 25 minutes walk away.
We will definitely come back here if we will visit Avignon again.
An absolute oasis tucked away outside Avignon. We loved the peacefulness and design of Maison du Lac and having the pool to ourselves. Beautiful pond and gardens and my daughter loved feeding the carp. Peter, the host couldn’t be any more helpful.
the hosts were very warm and welcoming. They gave us advice about restaurants and things to do. They booked tables for us and ordered taxis.
the hotel was pleasant and felt very homely
