All you need for breakfast was there. Not a huge selection, but what was there was great. The nice proper coffee made all the difference. Can only recommend it. Parking is secure with gates locked at night. The bar for an evening drink was an added bonus. Just ask at the reception if you want something from the bar.
Just 150 metres from the beach and Arcachon Convention Center, Arcanse has free WiFi, as well as a bar. The reception is open all day and the lobby features a babyfoot.

The welcome from the young gentleman and lady on our arrival.
The bedroom was clean, comfortable and cool. The air-con was great. The pool was a wonderful 27° and perfect for a swim to cool in the 30° heat, with seating and nice day bed loungers around the pool. Pool towels are offered too. Parking was good.
You can have a free hot drink or water from the machines in the restaurant, which we weren’t aware of, we only found this out the following day, which was a shame because we would have had a coffee.
We ate at the restaurant, purely because after a long drive from Spain we didn’t wish to drive again, but there were restaurants and easy walk away from this hotel. The menu is basic - but offers a good choice of up to three courses at a fixed price. It was tasty enough.
The hotel is in an area with lots of leisure activities so perfect for families or the adventurous, all within a short stroll. The location was perfect to find also.
Breakfast could have been a little better, all fresh but I felt lacking in some choices, although there was the usual, breads, ham, cheese, pastries and cereals. It just lacked something.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
