The owner, Fabienne, was very friendly and helpful. She made us feel very welcome . She spoke good English ,and we were able to communicate well. When we needed directions into town, she gave us a great map. The beautiful gardens around the pool were well cared for and a relaxing spot to spend some leisure time. Breakfast was extra, but was good value for the money and there was a nice assortment of food choices. You could eat inside or on the outdoor patio.
The Hotel Brasserie is located on the Dordogne River in Lacave, between Toulouse and Limoges. It has an outdoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tub and a restaurant overlooking the Caves of Lacave.
