It was one of the most (if not, the most) clean rooms in wich i stayed in France.
It exceeded my expectations in every way!
The owners were very friendly and helpful, the room was enough for two, the bathroom extremely clean, and the breakfast had a little bit for everyone’s taste!
Only 50 metres from a ski lift, Gîte-Hôtel Le P'tit Cham is located in Mont-Dore Ski Resort.

Really great place. This is right at the bottom of a tracking route up to the "Puy de Sancy." Very close to the cosy village Mont-Dore. We had dinner twice and breakfast too, and it met/exceeded expectations.
Big bonus for having a charging point for EV's right in front!
I would come again.

Great steam room, hotel in process of renovation, first impressions on the outside are of a rundown (maybe derelict) hotel, but the interior has been renovated to a good standard, just a few areas left to do.

We love the town, the hotel, the atmosphere.
We ate breakfast in the hotel which was incredible and ate out for other meals (not available in out hotel).
Bit of a nuisance to search for other places to eat - the month was September and quite a few places were closed.
The Cafe de Paris was a reliable stop gap.

We were looking for a nice place to stay during our trip from the south of France to The Netherlands. The hotel is clean and efficient, though overall somewhat dated. The staff was kind and helped us out. The nearby village provides with enough shops and restaurants as we had one afternoon and evening to cover. It looked like there were many outdoor activities going on (hiking, toboganning, etc.). Being there for one night, we did not participate so I cannot comment on those.

Mont Dore is a very picturesque town, with stone houses and friendly people. The smell of cheese and hot wine during winter is present non-stop in the centre of the town, where most of the stores and restaurants are. We had a great time skiing, but I would like to come back during warmer months to discover the forest trails, which are scattered around Mont Dore. Definitely recommend!

There were four of us in our party & we all loved everything about it. We'll go again & make it a longer visit.
There's plenty to do in good weather & a few indoor activities when it isn't.
There are many lovely restaurants, cafes & bars most of which are really reasonably priced. an interesting array of shops too.
Nearby Besse is also worth a day trip.
The decor is stunning and the bathroom was as though we were the first to use it.
The room was fabulously comfortable and beautiful....to us.
The staff were great. Helpful and enthusiastic.
The beakfast was a buffet ...but so much more. Everything home made with a wealth of tiny cakes, fruit, breads, cheeses.
The hotel is bang on central with car parking and a private garden. There is a comfortable seating area.
It was welcoming and comfortably glamorous
Everything was perfect, from the moment we entered the hotel, the smiling and nice receptionnist Majda and then Eric, the chef. It was our first time in Auvergne and it made us want to come back.
