Great location in the town. We had a balcony room which had amazing views. Food was good. Staff very welcoming. Would definitely stay again. Tonneins is probably not chosen as a tourist destination but good transport links and very friendly people make it worth a stop.

Three of us booked rooms for the night on a cycling trip across France. Manuel couldn't have been friendlier, and he provided us with ice-cold beer and a delicious dinner. His house is astonishing - a museum of French and African memorabilia. We stored our bicycles safely in his garage. We had a very relaxed, convivial and happy stay. The next morning we looked at the wonderful Romanesque church next door, and then with a heavy heart we got back on our bicycles. It had been the best night of our trip.
