The gite was beautiful, welcoming and well furnished. There were a number of facilities we had access to, like the lounge and swimming pool. We loved meeting the animals in their enclosure. Sandrine and Pierre were exceptional hosts, very welcoming and met us personally when we arrived.

It's slightly to one end of the main street and, amazingly, has free on-street parking and an easy 5 minute walk to the centre of town. We had Room 19 with the large balcony with an outdoor table and chairs; the beds were super-comfy, there was also an easy chair and footstool so I felt we got quite a few 'extras', and I'd give the lovely pool area a 4* rating! Both of the reception staff were incredibly helpful. I was able to borrow an iron and board.

Location is stunning!! Beds very comfortable, bed & bathroom linen clean, mini bar and tea making facilities in the room. Car parking. Breakfast good range of fresh bread, cheese, meats and fruit. Pool was a godsend on a hot sticky day.

Exceptional Hotel , Perfect location for visiting a multitude of exceedingly interesting and beautiful locations eg Sarlat de Candida, the Dordogne valley , river with its numerous chateaux and sporting activities. The welcome was very warm . The facilities are set in beautiful grounds and the food ! What can I say absolute " Heaven" if you like FIVE STAR local french cuisine. Having stayed at hotels that were rated much higher this hotel can hold its own with the very best . Our room was spotless and the linen / towels were of the best quality and the decor of the room charming. Should be Four Star minimum.
