Warm welcome from the Hotel owner, Thierry and Audrey who is his assistant manager. The property has had a detailed renovation and has kept the charm and the history of the property. The attention to detail was so refreshing to us, as we travel a lot and stay in some lovely hotels, everything about this hotel lived up to our expectations. It’s homely and relaxing and the food and service is absolutely excellent. The bonus as well it’s dog friendly, we travel with our sausage dog and he loved his stay too! Thierry has a dog called Omega who is very friendly and sweet.

OK, it is a bit tired but in a good way. Building is full of character, the restaurant is extensive and one room offers lovely views. The staff were without exception polite and friendly, particularly the woman who appeared to be the proprietor. We had the evening meal which was absolutely lovely. The simple made special. Tomato salad to die for. Perfect pork. Fabulous desserts.

it was just where we wanted to be for the two nights with a good restaurant and a bonus was getting my finger gently bandaged by the lady behind the desk who I think was the manager after I had gashed it quite badly.

Excellent location and well equipped kitchen that allowed us to self-cater on a Sunday night when everything in town was closed. Our host, Terry was a gem and we enjoyed his company!

The property was extremely clean and welcoming with a beautiful garden We had diner on the terrasse .. everything was homemade and delicious Breakfast was equally good with plenty of fresh fruit salad , homemade pancakes and a variety of jam , honey etc….
