Lovely hotel very nice welcome, unfortunately we only arrived late and had to leave early. We would have loved to stay longer & to try the restaurant.

Le Clos Romantic & Spa is in a tranquil and beautiful location. We were met by Alexis who is a lovely and friendly person. He showed us to our rooms. The food during our stay was also prepared by Alexis. This guy can cook. The evening meal was a taste sensation.

Chose the location as it was perfectly placed to spend an overnight on our way home after a week in the Loire. Plenty of parking outside and as it is off the main roads i doubt there would be any issues leaving vehicles here. Great welcome, offered refreshments etc and hosts ensured we were well settled in. We booked the evening meal in advance, and as expected were at the table with the hosts and although they had an event to go to they left us in the very capable hands of their niece. Great homemade meals, all in a 60's/70's themed setting as the hosts are collectors of furniture and things from that period. While we were eating and drinking, the authentic juke box whirred into action with a selection of disks taking us a few steps back in time. Great ambiance, great homemade food and would be very happy to have a few days here if returning to visit the area.

We had a very short (one night) but really wonderful stay in this great location. An excellent B&B with very very nice host. Rooms are great: spacious, excellent bed and bathroom, a very nice terrace. My wife did not feel like cycling another 5 km to Rouffignac, so our host prepared us a very nice evening picknick. Breakfast was also great, with excellent fresh products. Excellent price/quality. We went also to see the Alpaca feeding. In summary: highly recommended!

Owners were lovely despite the language barrier... but google translate was used so no problems, rooms were clean and after delays and it taking 10hrs the hot tub was a lovely treat to relax in. Entertainment for the children with badminton, football and table tennis. Spacious for the dogs as well. Breakfast was yummy, especially the homemade cake and jams! Food was plentiful too. Definitely recommend

Nice lounge and outdoor seating on the terrace. The beds had super comfy mattresses. The quality of the dinners was good value with particularly nice desserts and the restaurant staff were very attentive and professional. Breakfast choices were good and had some options for those on gluten /dairy free and low carb diets.
