We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we entered the hotel. All staff were so friendly. The room was clean ad very well presented. We made use of the Spa facilities which were great and very relaxing. We were provide towels, robes and footwear in our rooms for the spa which was convenient. Spa was onsite in the hotel without havign to go outside to another building. Parking was so convenient, off road and secured. The view of the Basillica was very special. The location whilst on the road opposite the basillica had land and space and felt calm and relaxing.
We had a fantastic evening meal in the restaurant. Very good service with excellent quality food. Whilst the meal cost more than I was expecting, the service, food and quality was very worth it.
Overall we had a really good stay and was made to feel very welcome from the onset of our arrival to our departure. All staff were extremely friendly. Would very much recommend, we wished we could have stayed longer!

The hotel is located on the main square in the center of the city. Even though it was just a one night stay as a break for the cross-country drive, everything we needed was within walking distance. My 10-years old boy stayed in a totally separate single-bed room with his own toilet and bathroom adjoining our double bed room with the same facilities.. So we had plenty of bathrooms and beds to use!
Brunch on Sunday morning was a delight. We chose the formula with a small bottle of champagne, which was very appropriate for the Champagne region!
This is an excellent little hotel with a nice restaurant with a reasonable Euro 27 prix fix menu comfortable rooms and they welcome dogs. If you have dogs ask for a room in the annexe as they have a ground floor balcony and are perfect for dogs. Also perfectly Located if coming from Calais.
A lovely stop on the N44/N4 route to Nancy and Alsace. The hotel gardens were immaculate and the location was peaceful, set on the bank of a small river . Dinner was delicious and worth a detour. Overall, Clos De Mutigny could not be faulted.
We have stayed at this hotel many times when travelling through France and we always enjoy it. The elegant building is set in beautiful grounds and the food served in the restaurant is superb. It is the perfect place to spend a night.
