Clean, spacious, great view, with affordable parking options within a 5 minute walk. The room was way more spacious than I expected, with a good amount of plugs, and a nice laptop stand for comfortable working conditions. The breakfast was very good, too.

The 4-star Mercure Nantes Grand Hotel Centre is in central Nantes, right next to the Pommeraye Passage and a 10-minute walk from the Château des Ducs de Bretagne.
Restaurant was wonderful.
Check in was somewhat odd. The receptionist wanted to write down my credit card number in full which I refused even though I had paid for the room in advance and had deposited an extra €150 for security.
Two pillows were coated in plastic protective layer which was odd and meant they could not be used.
Very good hotel. Would be excellent if teething issues with check in and pillows were sorted.
This hotel is such good value for money and we are surprised it isn't 5 stars! The room was exceptional, the breakfast was superb and the swimming pool is great too. We ate at the restaurant twice for evening meals as we enjoyed the food and wine so much. The location is excellent and perfect for use as a stopover when travelling further south like we were.
Room was spacious and king size bed comfortable. Outside patio area was a nice addition to have afternoon drink. The pool was a great place for the kids to play while parents relax by the pool and supervise. Easy access to the hotel with large car park right outside the foyer. Excellent supermarket and other large stores, bakery and McDonalds close by.
This is a really great hotel. The staff is very kind and professional, the facilities were really exceptional. Food at the restaurant was unique and the garden around it to die for! The parking is big with tesla chargers in the yard of the hotel. I really don't see what else can someone need from a hotel at such a reasonable pricing.
The restaurant was excellent and did a really good job when we were there. I thought the bar was nice as well but could use more beer selections. The hotel and rooms are showing a little age and could likely use some remodeling in the future but overall where very clean and nice.
The staff were impeccable, the hotel was attractively designed and well-maintained. The pool was excellent. We found the tram-train into Nantes was really easy and cheap to use- 15-20 mins to centre of the city.
Very comfortable (large) room with balcony in recently refurbished part of the hotel. Lovely swimming pool set amongst tropical gardens and excellent restaurant with a very reasonable set daily menu.
