It was a basic motel type accommodation. It had a good ensuite bathroom which was spotlessly clean. The breakfast though simple was well presented. It was in an industrial area but was located in a quiet section.

The Chateau is in a residential area set on a hill out the lovely city of Brivé. It takes about 30 minutes to walk into the city down hill! Taxi back cost 20€. The manager greeted us and showed us to our room which was clean comfortable and modern, as is the interior of the hotel. We liked the fresh flowers in the corridors. Breakfast was great with lots of bits, eggs included and served at the table. Plenty of parking. Really enjoyed our night here.

We were the only guests, but the staff provided a bar service & home cooked meal. Doubtless will be busy when summer holidays properly underway. After the meal we spent a pleasant evening chatting to the staff. We found the site via sat nav, which took us via the shortest, but very narrow route. The manager's wife led us into Turenne by a wider, safer route which I was happy to use.

* Characterful building. * Nice restaurant. * Good breakfast. * On the whole it was quiet during the night only disturbed by footsteps upstairs very early morning and the staff on their ‘break’ outside. * Great wallpaper! * Close to old Brive. * Good chef, friendly staff.

This hotel was comfortable & the manager friendly. It was not far from the motorway which suited us. Breakfast was very good for the type of hotel with cereal, patisserie, bacon, scrambled eggs, bread & jam, yoghurts as well as the usual juice & coffee
