The property was beautifully presented and the standard of equipment was very high. They also looked after the little things - coffee, milk, juice etc. And a great situation right on the waterfront.

very friendly, hospitable owners. Three/four stars quality in the middle of nowhere. Simple cousine, but with a sort of home-like touch. Local beers, very special.

The hotel has no parking which is no problem during winter but would be very difficult in summer months.
The walking along the Seine was easy and interesting to watch the
ocean going ships making their way to Rouen.
We would definitely use the hotel again.
Local restaurants are few and expensive.

Very small village on the Seine with typical French old buildings. We stopped on our way to Spain. ( September) Unfortunately everything was closed on Tuesday, except the boulangerie. There are a couple of restaurant and bars. ( all closed, except our hotel restaurant and 1 other place opened at 19:00 hours) But there is a nice walk for the dog, past the Ferry.
For a stop it was OK and close to the motorway.

Great little place. 10 minutes into the centre of Rouen and 5 to the autoroute. However it feels quiet but in a good way. Plenty of cafes snd restaurants ands you can watch the boats go by. One bonus is that there is a little car ferry shuttling across the river so if you have the time it’s a lovely war to arrive!

Fantastic location by the river with views of boats and wildlife. The hotel is full of character and very professionally run with knowledgeable staff. La Bouille itself is a fascinating village with links to artists and writers and some very ancient houses. Monday is not a good day to arrive as the boulangerie and epicerie are shut. A trip across the river on the free ferry gives access to riverside walks.

The quiet village of La Bouille was an ideal resting place for a couple of nights. The village has a couple of nice restaurants. There is a relatively quiet road that follows the Seine for a considerable distance which would be good for cyclists and walkers alike. The surrounding countryside is quite beautiful. La Bouille is ideally situated for a visit to Rouen.
This is a gem! We fell in love with the house. It’s set right on the river so incredible views and also slap bang in the centre of town so incredibly convenient for the lovely eateries a stones throw away. The owner has thought of every comfort for their guests: coffee pods, tea, milk, shampoo, shower gel etc. Contrary to a previous review we thought the kettle was perfect! We are very grateful and would love to stay for longer next time in beautiful La Bouille. Thank you.
The hotel is a beautiful village location on the banks of the Seine. We received a warm welcome, super breakfast and met friendly staff. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. We stayed one night as a stopover at the end of oit holiday and the hotel was perfect for this.
Older hotel, quiet with great view of the river (despite being on the road). Comfortable bed and good size room. Pleasant staff with good respect for covid safety, Good location for walking. Nice restaurants close by. Easy parking on street outside hotel.
Nice, tidy little hotel in a lovely spot.
Recently renovated.
Pleasant staff.
I didn’t get to eat in the restaurant but it looked very nice. There are plenty of restaurants along the street. La Maison Blanche is HIGHLY recommended.
Fabulous location on the river with views. Lovely village with bars and restaurants and cute ferry across the Seine. Close to Rouen and other sites. Comfy beds, gorgeous decoration and every detail thought about.
Excellent location. Good buffet breakfast but we were asked to pay despite saying it was included on
Booking com. Embarrassing but the hotel agreed no payment when we showed the Booking form
Well located hotel in pretty riverside village with superb river view from room at the front and from outside dining area. Excellent dinner menu and breakfast. Really pleasant and helpful staff.
Check-in was easy and there was somewhere to store our bicycles. The dinner and breakfast were very good. The hotel is in a nice location - a small village close to a ferry.
