Right in the center of town so handy for bars and restaurants staff were brilliant but the hotel is showing it age not sure if there’s going to be a refurbishment but could do with it.

Fully automated hotel. Didn't see any member of staff, except friendly cleaning lady in morning. Had to use machine to gain entry with a automated slip with number. All very well done. Hotel very clean. Was good for our one night stop in Pau. Free car park too.

Informed the hotel that it was our honeymoon & they kindly upgraded us. The balcony was a real stand out feature and the staff noticed we were looking a bit peaky upon checkout (!) & gave us bottles of water which was really kind.
Domaine Mont Riant was the perfect place to stay for us. Some of our family were also in the hotel and Madame Massonde made us all very welcome and was extremely accommodating with regard to numbers eating together, timing etc. Breakfast was freshly made and home produce made it even better. The evening meal - we had the set menu on two evenings - was appealing and quite delicious using fresh produce again.
Marilyn is a great host; friendly and funny. Our rooms in the main hotel building were huge, stylish and relaxing.. Very comfy bed, wonderful outlook over the countryside towards Pau, and beyond. Lovely grounds and pool. The atmosphere is wonderful.
We didn't get to eat in the restaurant, which by all accounts is very good. Nice breakfast. Highly recommended.
Everything: the accomodation, the deco, the pool, the park & his trees, the view, the location (calm and so close from Pau & Pyrénées & many interesting places for sightseeing)… and the owners who run the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. We also loved dining there, the cuisine is delicate and inspired. Chic & relaxed.
Hosts were amazing, and we were able to check in a little earlier. Fantastic views over Pau and the Pyrenees and the grounds were beautiful.
We ate at the hotel, and I am still smiling. Food was fine dining and worth every penny. The pear soufflé was to die for. Would definitely book again if we were in the area.
Wonderful location on the coteaux of Jurancon, overlooking the city of Pau and the Pyrenees. The evening meal that we booked for one night was exceptional. Very friendly host with excellent English.
