Martine and Mariel offered us a warm welcome. We felt like valued guests in their home. They allowed us to park our motorcycle in their garage, which was very much appreciated and kindly refrigerated a bottle of wine that we bought with us.
Our double room was very clean and spacious, with an en-suite bathroom including a very large shower. There is a balcony overlooking the gardens and we had use of the sitting room downstairs with tea and coffee making facilities. Towels were provided. Breakfast was very good.
Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Le nid offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay.

Fantastic bathroom.....plenty of towels. Enclosed garden which was perfect as I travel with my dog. The owners contacted me before arrival to tell me the key code so that I could access the property even though they were out. They called by later to check all was OK. Highly recommended.

It was easy to find just off the ring road. Secure parking. Clean and comfortable small rooms. Simple but sufficient choice at breakfast. It was much quieter than I had expected and it was a good choice and good value way to break a long journey.
