We don't often do reviews, but sometimes you just have to ... We took this stay as an 'in between stop'. Looked promising and ... the experience went well beyond the expectation. What a beautiful historic location. 20 minutes from Chablis. Exceptional surrounding. Not your usual hotel or B&B, but a place with a soul. We stayed in the Coco Chanel I room. A first class throw back in time. In the morning, after a good night sleep, a solid breakfast. What more do you need ? Both the warm intake by the daughter and the passionate individual tour with the owner of the abbay, were the cherry on the cake. Stylish without too much formalities. Loved it.

We had a great stay. Christian and Corinne are wonderful hosts. Every evening we had dinner and every time the meal was delicious, the cheeses and wines were superb. Christian and Corinne are very pleasant genuine people, they don't play an act and they give you the space you want. The room we stayed in was nicely decorated, big en tidy. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were great.

A very quiet and charming b&b. Good off-road parking adjacent to the building. Although the hotel is on the main road our room was at the back of the building and very quiet. Friendly welcome and a lovely breakfast.

On approaching the hotel for the first time, it is clearly a jewel of a location. It as very peaceful, and calming. The breakfast was excellent, and the evening meal was good, if a little pricey. The staff were very helpful, see point below. The black cat was quick to say hello. Fantastic area, lots to see and do.
