I have stayed here a number of times and it's always good. Staff friendly and helpful , comfortable ground floor room, easy car parking.
This Mercure is situated in a quiet residential area close to the city centre of Bourg en Bresse and is near the Brou Church, the exhibition centre and highway A40.
The landscape around Jasseron is interesting. There is the region of the Dombes, with many lakes, interesting little towns. North is the Bresse area, with its famous Poulet de Bresse, and interesting Bressan farms to visit. A major sight is the Royal Monastery of Brou and the city of Bourg en Bresse. East are the gorges of the Ain.

Really easy access from highway.
Really easy access from highway. Very quiet room - despite proximity to motorway. Really friendly staff and a reasonably priced restaurant (as well as a snack back and 'all you can eat' breakfast).

The bedroom was big and bed was comfortable. It is a good stop over hotel on way back to England. However the bedroom should have a bin in it and the experience with the breakfast was not good. Need more staff at busy times so that staff can can replenish orange juice machine and plates
despite an extremely busy hotel,restaurant,bars my room was really soundproof and I could sleep like a baby, just as I wanted as I was really tired and needed a break from driving on a long road trip.The room was great, clean and stilish, just a bit pricey.The location ,too was great ,near the motorway and with a pond full of frogs , it was a cute spot.Inside there were a lot of facilities: a restaurant, a bar, a shop.
This hotel was in a great location for an overnight stop on our return to the UK from skiing. We were apprehensive about how noisy it would be as it is just by the side of the motorway, but we couldn't hear a thing. Rooms were of a good size, beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast buffet offered a simple but decent selection.
It's very difficult to get to this hotel if you're not driving north on the autoroute. Then when leaving, the only possibility is to go north on the same autoroute. If you're travelling in any other directon than north on the autoroute, don't use this hotel.
Hotel was excellent and very clean Simon the receptionist was fantastic very helpful the only down side is it's on the motorway services my fault for not spotting on booking but it was a little busy and car park not very secure with it been on services.
Over night stay on the way back to UK from Italy. The hotel was on the motorway therefore I didn't have to leave the toll road to get to it. Restaurant on site. Good breakfast.
all well but the total hotel site did not appear very loved - breakfast ok but appeared to be out of a packet - resturant was OK when they eventually opened and got organised
We didn't take breakfast; the hotel parking is the parking of the rest area of the motorway. The restaurant, very close to the hotel (the same building) is ok.
A good clean hotel for an overnight stay if traveling to or from the south of France. very clean rooms, good value and extremely helpful and pleasant staff.
