The parking area at the rear of the hotel was crowded but we were guided to a parking site fairly near our room. Next morning there were still a lot of cars parked and this was reflected in the number of people at breakfast. The staff did a good job rushing around refilling food and drink, which disappeared quickly. The entire staff, starting with the man who checked us in and showed us to our parking, were pleasant and helpful.

The gite is on a farm in a very small hamlet. It is very peaceful and tranquil in a beautiful countryside setting. Lovely private outside space where you can sit outside to eat and have a glass of wine. There is a great view of the local church. You can easily relax and unwind. The local area is "very French". There is a bar/restaurant less than 5 minutes walk from the gite - great food and wine and very friendly service. Really enjoyed waking up the sound of cows and calves. The kitchen is particularly well equipped.
