I arrived very late as the address is very hard to find in the dark. He owner had kindly left the lights on so when I finally found the hotel in the middle of the night there was no problem for me to find the room and the keys were on the desk and ready for me. The problem of arriving late in town was mainly due to roadworks on the road after exit Châlons. This made it very slow to reach Charolles. The town is very nice. The hotel is a little expensive and the breakfast a little poor. I was lucky with the weather and could walk around town for a few hours and relax on lovely terraces with good food.

Charming and cosy hotel. Every member of staff made us feel so welcome and were so helpful. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and the food and choice was excellent. Breakfast had a wide choice too and was delicious. Highly recommend. Hosting as it should be.
