The position of the house is ideal to cover the Alsace wine route in a quiet and beautiful village with good restaurant choices! it's a modernly refurbished apartment in a traditional building. The covered terrace has a unique functionality for chilling even in bad weather and the view is inspiring! the parking is on the property. Jonathan is a wonderful and discreet host, who gave us all the information and guidance needed during our stay and has made sure that the apartment is fully equipped for every desire! Very comfortable king sized bed!!

The hotel is very close to the center, 5 minutes away. The breakfast is very tasty and varied, and a bakery with delicious products is right next to the hotel. We arrived at 4 in the morning, and the staff was very kind, they accompanied us to the parking lot, helped us with accommodation, and even waited for us at breakfast. Very, very kind. the room is spacious, the bed comfortable, Rituals bathroom products. They also have a small play area for children in the lobby, as well as a small boutique where you can buy snacks at night.

The rooms were very comfortable. The beds were high quality and the pillows were soft and plentiful. The blackout shades on the Velux windows made morning sleep a breeze for our toddler. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating and made us feel right at home. The selection of local wines on the menu was excellent. It was an easy five minute drive to the local town of Soultzmatt with some great tasting opportunities and tidy streets to stroll on.
Located in Westhalten, 20 km from Colmar Train Station, Auberge du Cheval Blanc depuis 1785 provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant.

Fabulous I think I will grade it as one the best hotel I've ever been.
As a matter of fact colmar didn't fit my purpose of the trip.... But I actually took another day just because of the hotel.

quiet place with good options on restaurants and some wine tasting. Very good accessibility to main roads and the "route de vin". the slight elevation gives the opportunity for panoramic view. I would spend 1 or 2 days more (5-6 nights in total) to better cover the area and have some time to hike around the vineyards! the traditional cuisine is not so spectacular (depending where you come from :-) ) and there are options for every pocket!
The hotel is situated in a vineyard and in addition to the hotel, there is a wine cellar and an excellent restaurant. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a balcony overlooking the vineyards -- quite pleasant. The staff was friendly. We had lunch in the Belle Vue, the restaurant next to the hotel and that was quite good. The quaint village of Gueberschwihr is worth a walking tour and there are many excellent walking routes of varying degrees of length and difficulty that originate in the area. Easy drive to Rouffach and Equisheim .
In our Alsace road trip, this hotel was the best to stay.
Very very clean, and comfortable. We reserved two rooms one with front view(attached photo) and the other one with vinyard view which makes you feel you slept among the vinyard whole night. This hotel is fabolous at its breakfast as well. Very rich choice of delicious pastry. It will be our only choice in our next trip for sure. The ladies running hotel are also very kind and helpful in recommendation for restaurant.
Very nice hotel located on the Alsace wine road. It is a perfect spot to discover amazing wines and small towns on the wine route. NIce breakfast. There is very good wineyard next door and restaurant as well where you can walk. Very close is L'Altevic, Michelin recommended restaurant where you could have lunch or dinner. The are dog friendly. Staff is very relaxed and nice. We had amazing week there.
I was completely in love with cozy flowery balcony (little table and 2 chairs) with beautiful wineyards and mountains view. Also the hotel has own winery with degustations. Staff is extremely friendly and nice. Design is sweet and stylish.
The hotel is in the middle of the wineyards, amazing views from every side. People were very, very friendly, helped us with our bicycles and everything. The breakfast was amazing! Everything was really good quality and very fresh.
