The site was well looked after and the cabins were good to a degree, in as much as they were all different and had everything we needed. The owners were good as they did their best to speak English, which was so much better than my French! Every cabin had it's own BBQ for our use. Right next to the site is a lake which is run by the local Council, which was perfect for paddle boarding and nearby, the Dordogne river.
Located just 150 metres from the medieval centre of Sarlat and housed in a beautiful building, the Hotel Montaigne offers comfortable and well-equipped rooms.

The hotel was an easy walk to the centre of Sarlat. It was well kept and very comfortable, with everything in good working order. Staff were helpful and met all requests promptly and efficiently. It was good to have secure parking.

The property is exceptionally clean and tidy, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Sarlat
Lovely relaxing sleepy village by the river. A real bonus for us was the lake and the lovely restaurant on it. Had everything you needed in the the way of shops. As it’s so close to the cycle track would be ideal if there was a cycle hire shop with the canoe hire as so many beautiful villages to explore.
