The reception staff were wonderful and the room was good. The shower was powerful and I really rate that, as that is not the case in a lot of hotels. So close to the station so perfect if you need to catch a bus

In May, Grenoble is extraordinarily beautiful with its natural surroundings. (However, since it's a transitional season form spring to summer, the weather in a day is unstable.) The view of the cityscape from the Bastille and the surrounding three mountain ranges is magnificent and inspiring. This city offers ample opportunities for citizens and tourists alike to engage with culture and art. Several museums in the city offer free admission, with exhibits that are impressively comprehensive. The city is served by trams, making transportation very convenient. The tram stations are wheelchair accessible, ensuring easy mobility for disabled tourists as well.

Lots of people regard Grenoble as a transit point - en route to other places such as ski-resorts. To me the town had an industrial feel to it as a result. It was very clean, no graffiti to speak of, and had some lovely free green spaces to sit in the park. Sadly the weather was not good enough when I was there - but I walked through them!

We personally found it unwelcoming and horrible.
We personally found it unwelcoming and horrible. We found that people were nasty to us as soon as we said we couldn’t speak much French. We also ended up eating in our hotel room every night because how the locals would treat us. Wasn’t a good trip for us personally. If you speak a good amount of French then I’m sure you’d enjoy this trip.

Where are the street lights?
Where are the street lights?
Walking back to the hotel around 9 p.m. after dinner was a bit hazardous. So many people on scooters whizzing past at speed, many dresssed in black, no lights on the vehicle and no lights to see them coming.
Where were the hot springs. Closed at the weekend

Great base to explore the local nature hikes in warmer months. If you plan ahead several of these are accessible by public transport. Also, if you like art (even a little bit) the Musee de Grenoble's permanent collection is amazing and free to visit.
What I liked about the property is the home-like feeling. I felt ag home during my entire stay. The coworking spaces are very nice and cozy. The interior designs of the coworking spaces and your room are superb. I never had major problems. The location is very accessible to public transportation like buses and trams. It is also very near the mall and Carrefour. They also have vending machines inside the hotel which serve food and other essentials. I highly recommend this place if you get to visit Grenoble.
It was just a 10-minute walking distance from the WTC. An excellent location, within walking distance of all the major 'not-to-be-missed' places and restaurants. It was only 5 minutes away from the SNCF train station, which was very convenient. The hotel was clean, even though the owner didn't know English, they still provided everything. It's a tiny room, really suitable for a solo traveler and for the price.
The Hotel is centrally situated in Grenoble making exploring easy. There is a large underground garage providing secure parking. The restaurant/bar is also very nice with a good selection of beers and wines and a decent 'pub grub' menu with nice food. There was a great selection of food for breakfast also. The staff was very helpful and helped me to arrange my mandatory Covid test (thank you!).
This was a self catering stay and it had reasonble pots pans cook top etc. We were able to park in the street rather than utilise the pre-arranged parking site that was a short walk away. With the weather being hot this site was uncomfortable as it had no airconditioning and the only window opened onto the street. Access to the town centre and supermarkets, bakery etc was a short walk away.
Very enjoyable stay at Hotel Victoria - old fashioned charm. Rare to find parking in centre of Grenoble, though it's a little tight. Hotel was very secure due to main gate locked at night. Room was charming and spacious. Breakfast was very good. We hope to stay again.
The whole vibe of the hotel was inviting and fun. The bartends were excellent and engaging. The rooms were comfortable and our view of the mountains was perfect. The hotel is in walking distance to wonderful restaurants, shopping and historical sites.
Very pretty apartment ideally located in Grenoble, along the tram line and walking distance from city centre and attractions (including cafés, shops and restaurants). Homey feeling, decorated with taste. The kitchen is great, the bed very comfortable.
I really liked the hotel's decor with the concept of sustainability. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has what is needed. The breakfast is pretty good. The location is very convenient, near the central gare of grenoble
Very nice hotel, extremely well-located, my single room was small but very nice, especially the bathroom. The staff was friendly and available at all sorts of hours. Good breakfast in a very nice room.
The hotel is very quaint. Good location. Parking convenient. We were able to park right outside of the hotel. The staff was lovely. Breakfast was worth every Euro. The room was clean.
Good location in the centre of Grenoble.
The actual studio it’s ok, small kitchen with everything you need, electric heater worked fine, shower with good pressure.
The young man at check in was super. He helped us with luggage, gave us a parking space in front of the hotel,
and directed us to a good restaurant for dinner.
Like any other Ibis around the globe, the hotel is located right in the center of the town, plenty shops, restaurant and bar around.
Incredible value for money.
