Beautiful position, right on the beach. A short stroll to the harbour. The accomodation was clean and comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful.
The room we stayed in had french doors opening onto the garden and a fantastic bathroom.

Tour Eiffel, Norte dame even though not open until Dec 8 was Amazing to see under construction and what they have done. Eating in district. 7 was delicious. Norman helped point out good choices!
Hard to follow directions around town so jumped in cab to get us home at nighttime.

Ideal location for exploring D Day museums and beaches but not much there.
Supermarket is useful.
Restaurants only open in season others limited opening, cafe bar closes early.
Town has pharmacy and Crepe bar, few minimal gift shops.
Not much there.

Stayed with my family, a base to see the dday beaches. very spacious, safe parking and nice pool although we didn't get time to use. nice balcony with room for 6 to sit at. ate at fab seafood restaurant but plenty of other options.

If total relaxation and a peaceful environment is what you need, this has it all. Chateau appeal and good walking distance to everything really makes La Faisanderie such a wonderful and destination. Dominic and Elliot host the property and go above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We will return and stay longer next time

On arrival ant 5pm our apartment was not cleaned from the previous guests. Lady at reception assured us someone Would be along shortly to clean. On our return a few hours later the apartment was still not cleaned. After complaining again we were given a new apartment.

You need to pre book the limited restaurants for an evening meal.We ate one night in a lovely restaurant but only as we managed to book the previous evening. The food was pricey in comparison with neighbouring restaurants.

A beautiful location in the quiet countryside, yet only a 5min drive from Grandcamp-Maisy (restaurants/bar)
It is also conveniently located near Point Du Hoc, Utah beach and Saint-mere-Eglise.
A very big garden to relax in, and parking in front of your room. Nice bonus were the friendly horses across the entrance of the property.
The hostess was very friendly, accomodating and tried her best to speak english to us.
The highlight for me was the breakfast! Everything is prepared for you, it was all fresh and i think local produce.
You rarely find accommodation as perfect as Les 4 Vents. The quiet location with its ocean view is a dream and perfect to unwind. The room was impeccable and the bed as comfortable as home with luxurious sheets. Breakfast in the garden was another highlight. We would have loved to stay longer to read in the wonderful garden or to swim in the ocean right in front of the house.

Refreshingly different from staying in the usual stereotype hotels. Our host was welcoming and attentive. The old style French farmhouse was an interesting mixture of old and new and set in beautiful surroundings. A comfortable bed, excellent continental breakfast served in our own dining room, great value for money. Couldn't have asked for more.
Convenient to the Normandy beach heads and associated Museums etc. We will stay again.
Location is great. There's no TV or WiFi, just a great classic stone built farmhouse. This is not a modern hotel style property but all the better for it.
