The breakfast was very good. The studio unit was very spacious, but did not look like any of the pictures that I had seen online.

A perfect home from home, two beautiful bathrooms and bedrooms, all modern and new facilities, the kitchen was stocked with some bits for us to make breakfast and they had even bought a chocolate teddy bear for my daughter as well as some toys and colouring in the house. It is a stunning property and lovely people. So very helpful and the location was perfect for Giverny village and monets house and gardens.

The lady of the house Eliza is very kind, the room is clean, the garden is green and with roses, the birds are singing. And there is enough space.

Our family stay at La Petite Maison de Giverny was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Caroline and Hugues, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was exceptional. They surprised us with delightful local gastronomical treats, fresh flower arrangements from their own garden, provided excellent restaurant recommendations, and even had toys ready for our daughter, making her feel right at home.
The location of the property is nothing short of amazing, nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Giverny, within walking distance to Monet's house and gardens. The accommodations exceeded our expectations in every way; contemporary modernity unified with old world charm and amplified with every high tech amenity and high end finishes/details, all without taking away from the historical feel of the estate that it was rebuilt on, truly deserving a rating beyond 5 stars. High end finishes all through out the property, water pressure that is just right and even a collection of books and magazines to enjoy while relaxing. Staying here felt like living in a dream, or perhaps a living painting. We wholeheartedly recommend La Petite Maison de Giverny to anyone looking for an extraordinary getaway. You will not want to leave....
Not to mention the fabulous outdoor sauna, which was just divine on a rainy afternoon in mid May.
Caroline and Hugues, we look forward to coming back again!

Giverny is a charming and historic town that has an intimate feel despite having a world-class attraction of Monet’s Gardens. On our visit, visitors seemed thoughtful and respectful, and like us, were in awe of the beauty of the village itself, as well as the magnificent gardens themselves. It was a great pleasure to stroll through the streets of Giverny, and the advantage of staying in town is that most visitors to the gardens have left by late afternoon and the village itself is peaceful and interesting to explore.
Although restaurant options in town are somewhat limited (however there is apparently a Michelin starred restaurant in town), we enjoyed dining at “Le Temps des Fleurs”, on a covered terrace overlooking a garden.
We also enjoyed visiting the Giverny Museum of Impressionism, which is a more intimate space with no permanent collection, but interesting temporary exhibitions.

A charming village with good restaurants, bakery and cafes.
A charming village with good restaurants, bakery and cafes. The Museum was interesting and held beautiful artwork of Impressionists. Monet's garden and house were a treat to visit. Our timing was perfect - there was much in bloom and the weather was cooperative. There were hidden monuments - Monet's bust, the monument to him and his family. And the house was beautifully replicated.

Beautiful village, with a sense of peace and quietness despite many tourists. Monets garden is absolutely worth a visit as well as the impressionist museum. We had dinner at the new restaurant “Oscar” at the museum (excellent food at a fair price, definitely recommend it)

This centre was lacking in the overall character of a village. The gardens were the focus. But there was very little opportunity to enjoy the village separate to the gardens as there were no shops to buy local cheese, yes there is a bakery but no partisse. It had character but no sole.

We loved the gardens and house although very busy.
We loved the gardens and house although very busy. Glad we chose the earlier booking option as by the time we left it was mobbed. If we had longer we would have gone to the museum too, however, we were en route south and needed to get going.
Like it even better once we left the pre booked disgusting Les Rouges Gorges and paid for another stay at the idyllic La Dime.
My husband and I were warmly welcomed to La Musardiere by Michael and that was the start of a most enjoyable stay. We were there to visit Monet's house and garden and they were only a few minutes walk from the hotel. All of the staff we met were courteous, friendly and engaging. There were multiple nationalities employed which made for some interesting conversations. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in, so much so that we asked for the name of the manufacturer. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
Afaf and Alain were exceptional hosts, very friendly and helpful during our quick overnight stay - gave us bread, hand-picked strawberries from their garden, and water & juice in the fridge. The home is so beautifully kept, the terrace is perfect for a little snooze and they let us wamder theit garden. We were about a 10 min walk to Claude Monet's house, so easy to walk around the town. We would absolutely come back to visit Giverny and the rest of the Normandy region again. Also, their dog prada is so cute!
We received a lovely welcome from our host Luciano to his attractive traditional property surrounded by beautiful gardens. The house is a 20 minute walk through the lovely village to Monet's house and gardens. Luciano's breakfast was delicious, particularly his home made omelette with bacon. There are also many nice restaurants and cafés in the village for later in the day. We were really pleased that we opted to stay for 5 nights and enjoyed visiting other parts of Normandy during our visit.
The location is perfect for visiting Monet’s gardens. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. The hosts are delightful, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and it was served in a lovely sunroom. I cannot say enough about how our brief stay with Luciano and his wife and their adorable dog Marcello made the highlight of our trip to Giverny even more memorable. Merci beaucoup! Grazie!
A charming and unusual property in Giverny centre only a few hundred yards from Monets garden. Quirky french , shabby chic interior with lovely comfy bad. Breakfast all laid out ready, we just had to wander down to the bakery for the fresh stuff, baguette, croissants etc. Perfect. Christine, our host, was lovely given that it was almost midnight when we finally arrived from Dieppe.
Very spacious and well equipped apartment in convenient location in beautiful Giverny. Thierry was a very nice host and even made a special effort to turn on wall heaters (so that it was warm when we arrived) and greet us in person. He also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. We would like to return.
The location couldn't have been better. We were within walking distance of Monet's Gardens and many of the other things we wanted to see and do in Giverny. The house was clean and well-laid out with everything we needed. Our hostess, Stephanie, was friendly and welcoming.
Excellent communication from the owner and a personal visit to ensure we were all settled. By far the best booking we've made a booking.com.
Even though we only stayed for one night it was the highlight of our two week holiday in France. Thank you
The place is really nice. The hostess was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for dinner. The best was breakfast. According to all members of the family it was the best breakfast we had during our stay in France.
The location is superb. A one minute walk from Claude Monet’s grave. 5 minutes from his house and gardens. It’s spacious. We stayed in the three bedroom. It has every basic thing you would need. It is quaint and beautiful.
Perfect location on the main lane through Giverny but away from the bustle of crowds so incredibly peaceful. The appartment and courtyard garden were lovely, generally much better than the photos suggested.
Bang in the centre of giverny, everything in walking distance. Lovely room in beautiful gardens with private parking. Able to buy tickets for the house and garden direct from the host so no queuing.
Charmy small B&B in Giverny. We spent two nights as a start on our Normandie Week
Arrived late from CHdeG and we got what we expected.
Maybe they will need to improve their breakfast coffe:)
Lovely setting, just a short walk to the village of Giverny on Rue Claude Monet. We liked staying in a small, intimate B & B, and enjoyed staying in the spacious “Soleil Levant” room.
This studio room was just a delight and the outlook beautiful. Our host couldn’t have been more helpful and Giverny is one of my favourite places, so we were very happy.
A wonderful apartment in the centre of Giverny. Spacious and comfortable. Very kind of the owners to provide milk, tea, coffee, bread etc for breakfast.
