I couldn’t get in to the property. No one came to let me in and I wasn’t provided keypad numbers. I waited for two hours. Booking. Com customer service promised to get back to me within half an hour. I have not heard from them again. I am à cyclist - I can’t just go another 50 miles. I had to camp o in the rain.

Kevin who was our host could not have been more pleasant or helpful.
He arranged a dinner reservation at a restaurant nearby.
He supplied bottles of cold beer for us to enjoy in the last of the afternoon sunshine.
Breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious. Lots of homemade items too eg jams, yoghurt.

Loved every minute of it, peaceful, clean and the owners really put in great effort to have a lovely stay. I’m very happy to review this property especially if it goes a long way to help the owners, one of the best stays I’ve had it Europe as a traveller.

Clean quiet and stately and a safe place for our classic car
A lovely town centre, nice food where we ate. A lovely castle undergoing renovation.
Easy to reach from the Channel tunnel.
A relaxed town within easy walking distance of the property.
There is a Paris-bound train station if you want to visit there
Hotel Moderne appears to be the only hotel in Gisors!
The hotel had secure cycle storage. The patron was very helpful, handled my terrible French with aplomb but obviously spoke good English too. We only had breakfast at the hotel - it wasn't spectacular but perfectly adequate.
The hotel was 10 minutes walk from the town centre which has a good choice of restaurants. We ate at Le Cappeville, which was superb.
The castle and park are worth a visit.
Everything you'd expect from a traditional 2 star hotel with the added benefit of cycle storage as we were on a cycle tour. The hotel was extremely quiet but that may have been because it was a Friday. The gentleman running the hotel was delightful - very helpful and explained everything clearly and slowly in French including suggestions of restaurants in town. Plenty of choice for breakfast.
Excellent apartment presented to a very high standard. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and feels both homely and luxurious. The host was very friendly and coped well with our poor French! There are good supermarkets just a short cycle ride away, and the town of Gisors is certainly worth a visit. . Would highly recommend 👌.
Lovely simple hotel. Our room was very nicely done and spotlessly clean. There was secure parking for our bikes, which we appreciated, and they had a track pump to help with our puncture! The gentleman running the hotel was delightful! Good recommendations for dinner! Really lovely little hotel.

The hotel is perfect for anyone cycling along the Avenue Verte - which bike storage at the back. Also very welcoming host at reception and an amazing breakfast!! We loved our stay
