The hostess was very friendly and kind, made us dinner as all the restaurants in the town were closed. The building needs a bit of renovation but it was very clean and the bathroom was fantastic.

Everything! The cabin was perfect for the 4 days we were there and cosy and warm. The lake was a 2 minute walk which made you feel close to nature.
I would highly recommend this place to stay and I’m a hard person to please! Our host Dominique was friendly and helpful, we had a fantastic time to relax while visiting the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Thank you

very clean and airy. it is a lovely home. we didn’t see much of the owner as we were not staying in the village for long and had travelled through the night so slept most of our stay. I would highly recommend if you need somewhere to stay in that area

Giat is a great base point for visiting the surrounding areas, such as the Puy de Dome and Puy de Vulcan parks in the Aubernge region. There are some great chateaus nearby as well as other historical sites. The best time to visit is during the Spring and Summer.
Nicholas and his family made me feel very welcome. They contacted and reserved a table for dinner at a nearby bistro because the hotel kitchen and bar were closed. Nothing was too much trouble, engaging, kind and friendly hosts. Excellent buffet breakfast. Secure parking.
It’s a very charming hotel. The breakfast was very comprehensive and tasty.
We ate dinner there too and it was fantastic! Great food and even more excellent was the company. It was so nice chatting to other guests. We felt very welcome.
