Nice hotel in a good location in the centre of town
The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed. A seoersye entrance lobby with a private bathroom with large sower area. The bathroom was fitted out to accommodate persons with disabilities which given the fact that Normandy is visited by many veterans I felt was a great touch
The bar and lounge area complete with pool table and football game was in a word brilliant and the restaurant very nice wit great service
Breakfast was pretty goood with a choice of hot and fond food.
Better than I expected when booking

room and bathroom are really spacious. In the back of the hotel, there is a nice little garden, where also bicycles can be securely parked. Staff is doing their best to be accommodating; however, language was a bit of a challenge. River Seine and its nice corniche can be reached by foot (10 min), as well as the city center (25 min).

Gasny looked to be a lovely, quite little village with the main useful services. Very very close, less than 10 minutes drive by car. The B&B has also bikes in case their guests have time and would like to wander in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately we didn't have much time otherwise would have loved to take the chance.
We ate at the restaurant suggested by the hosts, in Giverny.
We would go back again with more time at disposal. Perfect for relaxing. We were there in a quiet period for Giverny Claude Monet house and gardens, so we don't know how busy it would be in other months. We were lucky to be there at the beginning of April.

More choice of restaurants in Gasny would be great but dinner in a charming village nearby was great! Lots of locals and delicious meal, speaking French helps!
Very easy access to Giverny.
Great location for getting to CDG (approx. one hour) for departure to USA in the morning. Left Gasny at 8:30 am, stopped for gas, no major traffic problems even at that hour on a Friday.

Gasny itself is less charming than some of the other nearby villages, but it is an excellent base for exploring Giverny and the surrounding region. In addition to Giverny itself, there are a number of villages, castles, and chateaux within about a 20 min drive that are worth a visit. Gasny also offers at least one wonderful place to stay, and a at least one wonderful restaurant!
