We loved the ambiance of the hotel, it was very relaxed. The staff were attentive and proactive. The food was excellent. The room was comfortable. The swimming pool was accessible even late at night. We had some thermal treatments and a massage, and a lovely walk in the hotel grounds...all of which made for a relaxing getaway weekend.

This hotel is in a beautiful, quiet, country setting very close to the center of town. We were only going to stay one night but decided to stay on for a second. The owner was a huge help to us in planning our ongoing hike, transportation and accommodations.

As we were unable to take the Yellow Train due to the strikes and the complex problems with SNCF, we will definitely make an effort to visit Villefranche-de-Conflent again to go on the yellow train, once it is securely up and running again. The beautiful homemade breakfast, which was included in our price, was also excellent! We thoroughly recommend people visit and stay here! Great value for money!
