Beautiful small château in a country side village. Spacious room (double room superior), nicely decorated, clean and comfortable beed. We spent the evening on the terrace eating cheese and snacks, which we brought with us. I don't think there is a restaurant in the village. It was too cold to use the pool but it looked nice. Excellent breakfast.

Delightful hotel with lovely staff. Right by the Louvre in Lens, this modern hotel is in converted terraced houses that were once homes for miners. The whole hotel is elegantly presented and decorated - dark colours beautifully lit - and includes an excellent restaurant with delicious food, beautifully presented.

I usually stay at a Premiere Classe motel - for the extra ten or so euros this was SO much better: nice to stay in a room that doesn’t look like it’s designed to be hosed down between guests. Appreciated the proper duvet and bed linen (as opposed to dubious coverlet), large bathroom with actual bath, nice smelling citrusy shower gel, good lighting, USB charge points above bed. Easy access from A26, with plenty of secure parking. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed relaxing with a drink in the garden. Dinner was excellent - good quality produce and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was a continental buffet - with decent coffee!
