It was actually a nice surprise. I have no experience with the Ibis hotels. That was the only hotel in that region where I had to travel for work.
The hotel has a parking right in front.There is even a possibility to have diner.
The staff at the reception was absolutely lovely. It was very clean (I'm difficult).
Note that it's just in front of a beautiful lake. Even though the window of my room was quite small I still could view the lake. I stayed in room 223.
There was a shower / bathtub.
The bed was comfortable enough.
It's also possible to bring your pet for an extra fee (I think they said 15 EUR).

The room was beautiful. Christelle was very welcoming , friendly and helpful. We needed a late check in and she was accommodating. Lovely querky breakfast. Secure gated parking at the house. We would strongly recommend Maison Magdala.

Breakfast was very good. The little house had everything you could need. Lovely view from the front!
The breakfast was excellent, bread just out of the bakery, nice cheese, jam, and meat. The hotel is an old aristocratic building, well renovated, with quality furniture, etc. The pool and jacuzzi were also nice with a good view of the backyard.
Our stay at this hotel was delightful. The location was ideal. The accommodation is quiet and comfortable. The catering is excellent. The people are friendly and helpful . Our dogs were treated as friends. We were really happy with our stay.
Good clean and well presented hotel, good supply of power sockets and lovely surroundings. Had stayed here 40 year ago and it was good to return to find things much as I remember but of course updated.
