The accommodation is located in a quiet rural area surrounded by pastures. We only had the opportunity to stay for one night, but the apartment fulfilled everything we needed - a quiet rest for the whole family and a well-equipped kitchen. Handing over the keys without any problems (safety box with a code), the owner is very pleasant. The place has its own atmosphere. We could park the car under the roof right next to the door - very useful when it is raining by the arrival...

Wonderfully peaceful, well equipped, spacious and airy. Very comfortable beds. While I was not aware of the historic surroundings of this property, the books and information in the house only enhanced our enjoyment of being there. A perfect place to stay if you have children who make lots of noise (as we do!)...as it is some distance from any property .

The view from the accom was as described calm and beautifully quiet, even with the train regularly passing nearby, often masked by the sound of the rustling poplar trees and abundance of birds and wildlife - simply amazing! We saw kingfishers and herons as well as the geese every day. We just loved the location to visit all the key WW1 places not far away. We had a simply amazing 5 days leaving things to do for next time - there is so much to take in.

Plenty of room and good kitchen/dining area. Host was excellent and very helpful supplying a good plain breakfast. Good privacy and handy location for touring the nearby battle sites Not luxury but clean and I would book again.

Situated on a WW1 battle field, Château de Couin is a beautiful, restored 18th-century chateau that is now a B&B surrounded by a 6-hectare park.

Beautiful chateau located in a peaceful rural hamlet, superb setting. Bedrooms were fantastic. Our host was wonderful, she was hugely helpful and gave us a wonderful history of the chateau. We will return!
