Great location in Florac. We were put in the annexe building on the third floor. The room was good, shower room great. We ate in the restaurant on our first night which has a couple of menus from local suppliers. Food was excellent and the staff were very helpful. We didn’t take breakfast. Easy to walk around the village. A great base to explore the Cevenne.

The hotel is situated in the beautiful small town of Florac and is an excellent base to explore the Tarn Gorge region. It has a quirky old-world charm which reflects its history. There is a black and white photo of the hotel in the breakfast room which must be about 100 years old. The hotel entrance looks almost identical today! While we were there, a group of MGB classic car owners who were taking part in a rally stayed at the hotel. Classic car gatherings seem to be a feature of Grand Hotel de Parc's history and DNA. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and contain some magnificent cedar trees. We didn't use the outside pool as the weather had turned cooler.

We loved our stay at Manoir du Charme. Sylvie and Christophe were so incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We so enjoyed our conversations (thanks Google Translate). A great dinner and breakfasts! Thank you for having us!
We only bought food this time. But on earlier visit stayed at Grand Hotel du Parc which was very good. Streets are narrow and one way system can be difficult. Best to use parking at edge of town in high season.

We had to enter the coordinates of the farm in the navigation system of our car to get to this small paradise. The place is nature pure. The food is 100% local. Bread is cooked once a week. the water is simply source water. The staff is very good always ready to help. People coming here are from all the possible places but somehow with some similar motivation and envy to enjoy what this place can offer to you.
The wifi (when available) is very weak ... but it is not required in this place where everybody can eventually find some time and space to walk, to talk, to discuss, to read, to admire the nature, to get inspired or simply to think.

This town is on the Stevenson Trail so many hikers pass through here. There are a few restaurants including one in the Michelin guide. On a Sunday evening when we were there only the pizza place was open - and this was very good.

If you’ve ever wondered what’s the polar opposite of a dull, anodyne, predictable and unfriendly hotel then visit this one to find out. If you don’t wake up to that view and feel good, you’ve got no soul. The breakfasts and dinners aren’t just delicious, it’s the conversation with fellow travellers around the vast table that’s so engaging and different.
Nice old fashioned hotel near the centre of town. Easy to communicate with the reception who spoke good English. Nice size room,could probably do with being refurbished. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Good quality evening meal. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Close to town. Hi
