Good for spending the night while traveling. Even though we had small rooms, they were sufficient for just spending the night and continue traveling.

The room was clean and quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The owners were pleasant and friendly.
There was a good bus service into the centre of the city but on foot it was a good 20-25 minute walk to the centre so l’Aiglon is not exactly centrally situated.
However, it is a one star hotel and therefore simple and basic and that needs to be borne in mind in relation to this review.
We've used this hotel for about 8 years as we travel through France. Compact, tidy, 30 seconds from autoroute and generally very acceptable. Good price fir what it is. Has a restaurant but never used. However, food smells fab. With 2 kids, they prefer the 2 min walk to burger King situated opposite. Staff always polite and helpful. Will book for next year. Simply, no reason not to.
We had travelled from Orleans and needed somewhere South of Limoges for the night. The Originals City suited our needs as it was easy to get to, had car parking and a restaurant. The restaurant was being renovated but we were still able to have an evening meal and breakfast in the morning. Due to the hotels location it was easy to continue our journey South.
The hotel is located 2 minutes from a big highway, so very convenient if you're travelling across the country like we were. The room was spacious and comfortable, though a little noisy; we could hear all the chatter in the hallway and check-in area.
The only reason I chose this hotel is because it was last minute booking and also was on my way back home. The staff was very nice and it was easy to find a fast food near by.
The bathroom was my favorite.
