Chateau du Bu is a beautiful place to stay, the room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, the gardens are lovely too. Its also very quiet and peaceful. We can highly recommend Chateau du Bu.

Nice layout with single storey accommodation, quiet location
Gaiety and elegance are the two words which automatically spring to mind to describe this magnificent 18th-century chateau, a listed building set amongst exquisite French gardens and parkland.

Fortunately we travelled by car so the hotel was in easy reach of Bayeau, Caen and the Normandy beaches. The food at breakfast was good and the quality of the food in the restaurant was of good quality. The hotel was in good order, clean and most of the staff spoke good english.
