The town looked a bit "tired" and the hotel itself was a bit elderly and rambling. To have a rustic feel in the restaurant is acceptable but the room needed a sweep or hoovering. The owner, despite me asking in French for her to speak slowly, refused to do so. Although we ate in the restaurant I didn't understand what two dishes we had ordered until they arrived and even then only one of them. There was no menu !

On the feet of the Vosges and near the Valley of Kaysersberg, Le Bonhomme City is the ideal starting point for a long excursion or the Wine Road.

Very surprised for a small village to have a nice hotel, very clean, the staff knows how to interact with the client, very friendly and adaptive. The room looks great. The breakfast was very good. Many good points, I hope the hotel can get bigger in the future.

Exceptional attention to detail, little gestures that made the experience really enjoyable and allowed us to rest perfectly during a long and tiring journey. Individual approach to customers. The design could be described as outdated so not to everyone’s taste but it gives the place the whole charm. Spotlessly clean, smelled and felt good, cosy, comfortable. I wish there were more places like this.

Room advertised a small double which it was. It suited us for a one night stay. Breakfast was very tasty but minimal and cost 12 euros each. The owners went out of their way to get Gluten Free bread for me. The bread was great, best i've ever had.

The host, Eric, was very helpful! Check in was smooth, we had a parking space in the courtyard. He also left strawberries for us in the fridge. The place was big and had everything we needed. We also found a small terrace and some activities, like ping pong, available on site.
