Beautiful location, well appointed rooms with attention to color and a feeling for space. The breakfast area is fabulous, fresh, open and airy.

Although it is said in the web that the sea can be seen from the apartment, that is absolutely false.
I do not accept lies when description is done; that is fully unacceptable.
Boasting garden views, Comme à la Maison - Terrasse features accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 1.9 km from Plage du Ris. The 3-star apartment is 2.1 km from Plage Saint Jean.
Quiet little town with a port. Easy to find nice places to eat.
Not too touristic during winter. Nice spa thalasso around. Not for anyone who seeks out party places.
There is also a reasonably priced Moroccan eatery Le Sable d’Or that serves authentic cous cous and home made baklava!
There is also a great seafood restaurant, Le Restaurant La Regate, at Hotel Les Sable Blancs.

We went in winter and the weather was awful but still alot to see, and if you love wild weather and walks along the coast its amazing. The town itself is lovely, some good restuarants and great small shops.

Once a very rich city (merci la Sardine!), Douarnenez is struggling to stay on the map of tourists' destinations. The ports are great places to visit, and the welcoming attitude of the people is a great asset. I am an old man who knew the region more than 60 years ago, we are not a young couple and the month of November is not the best period to visit: nevertheless I found the atmosphere even better than in my young age.
Amazing location overlooking the baie de Douarnenez, hôtel parking at entrance. Bright and spacious from the moment you enter the reception, very friendly staff. We had a room on 1st floor with view of the bay. Everything you need in room. Self service breakfast with great variety including bacon and scrambled eggs, fruit, cheeses, yoghurt etc. The icing on the cake was 13h checkout as we had free access to swimming pool and access to beautiful beach below. Would return at the first opportunity.
Great location for the beach with a couple of bars close by. Lots of free public parking which was a bonus. Supermarket close by although that seems to be pretty standard in france. Interesting property which is a hotel with apartments set within the same grounds, swimming pool overlooks the beach and sea! Reception staff were very helpful
