Very nice location, close to everything. The lady of the house was really very helpful and kind. Area is very good for cycling and walking. The room is spacious and the bathroom big enough as well.

Exquisite chambre d'hôtes in a beautiful countryside setting just outside the medieval town of Domfront. We stayed here before and returned once more to enjoy a warm welcome from Victoria and Richard, who are very friendly and personable hosts. Rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. The lounge downstairs is a perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine in front of the cosy wood burner. Breakfast is always a joy. The views into the garden and countryside are no less than stunning. Our favourite B&B in Basse Normandie.
This is probably the most interesting property we have ever stayed in, it is a beautiful and truly historic building which has been beautifully decorated with great facilities. The lady that owns the property was an exceptional host, we were quite taken aback by how friendly and accommodating she was, truly welcoming us. She made us an incredible breakfast with home made produce and even bought us some Easter eggs as it was Easter day. If you are visiting Domfront La maison sur les remparts is a must!
Paul and Jeannie are wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful and welcoming . The rooms are immaculately clean, the bedroom roomy and the bathroom modern. In addition, there is a large comfortable lounge area to use. The area is very quiet and attractive , and the medieval center of Domfront is only an easy 10 drive away. Our breakfast was generous and delicious, and we had fun talking with Paul and Jeannie. We miss them already.
Very sweet and friendly hosts, who makr you feel welcome. Such detail in little things, beds and barhroom was very clean and we had a lovely breakfast. We were really looked after by the hosts and could ask any questions. It is an idyllic place in the middle of fields but only minutes away from Domfront by car. They offered a little living room wirh a fireplace and upstairs two beds and a öittle bathroom.
Friendly helpful staff, who made us a takeaway lunch on short notice. And most helpful as we needed to ride our bikes - Velo- , our host showed us the nearby and flat Voie Verte which led to our destination town of Flers. I recommend enjoying a meal at the Grill attached to the hotel and views of the garden.
We received a lovely warm welcome with tea and biscuits after a long hot drive. Victoria and Richard are brilliant hosts. Couldn't fault them.
We loved the house and gardens. Very clean and comfortable and restful. A short drive into Domfront. Definitely recommend.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Separate secured area for bicycles. Flat area of town so easy walk up to the elevated area of town for dining, history walks but easy to keep bicycles and belongings in hotel at base of town.
Very friendly hostess and great breakfast. Interesting quirky property but very clean with a modern bathroom. And so quiet but close to the centre of Domfront. It was really good to be able to garage our motorbike.
Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Area for storing bikes securely. Didn't have breakfast here, as we had an excellent dinner meal the night before at the grill attached to the hotel.
Location is perfect to explore Domfront and other places like Mont Saint Michel and Bayeux. Free parking is close to the flat. The bed was very comfortable.
