We got a cozy, very clean and spacious room and we enjoyed the best view of Dinan from our window. 😁
We were welcomed for the breakfast by Kevin & Roxana, the owners, and we were delighted to have a conversation about their story. The breakfast was a joy, we ate delicious croissants, pain au chocolat, many French type of cheese and meats and fresh fruits. Kevin also made us a good espresso. 😅
It was our biggest pleasure to meet Kevin & Roxana and we realised they bought the hotel and put their heart in transforming it so that people could enjoy an authentic stay in Bretagne!

Great location, good sized comfortable room with large and clean bathroom. Overall better than I was expecting for a Mercure. Lots of food options along the front.

A comfortable bed.
A good place for an overnight stay.
Walking along the central old streets was time out of mind.
Walking along the central old streets was time out of mind. The cobbles are as in many old cities, and some streets are steep, so walking requires attention and some stamina. There are so many half-timbered houses, it's almost like a movie set, except it's a real, living town. Le Cosy provided a fantastic dinner with friendly staff. The central old church (St. Sauveur) has 12th c. tombs of knights.

Dinan is a great place to stay.
Dinan is a great place to stay. There are plenty if places to eat and drink. The old town is fascinating and the castle is well worth visiting. There are walks by the river.
It might not be suitable for visitors with mobility issues. The road to the port is very steep.
Our apartment was on the first floor up a steep flight of stairs so, again, not appropriate for someone with mobilty issues.

Dinan is beautiful and we are sorry that we were only staying for 1 night as part of an organised event. We ate at La Terrasse by the old bridge on the river. The food and staff were excellent. We were able to walk from and to our apartment through the old town without problem. Just be aware that it is steep walking back up from the river to the pedestrianised area of the newer town.

Cafe culture, beautiful views, charming and vibrant town sq with weekly market. Tranquil. Too much to see in one day. Take a two hour electric hire boat with a picnic down the river. Eat Moules until you can't move and relax.

Charming place, especially the port.
Charming place, especially the port. No boats - while we were there -to St Malo because of the tides, as the river is tidal up to Dinan. The older part is almost traffic free. Fascinating shops, deli's, market on Thursday.

Loved Dinan, its so pretty , every street is pleasing to walk along, and has lots of attractions around the area. Plenty of great places to eat and drink or sit outside the cafe's and watch the world go by. St Malo is a 'must' to see, very similar to Dinan.
Room was large ensuite with heated towel rail, hairdryer and good hot water. There was a good size wardrobe with hanging space and ample shelves which was within the wardrobe. Tea and coffee making facilities and ample sockets. The room overlooked the place duguesclin where there is plenty of parking and there is also parking in front of Hotel. The hotel is ideally situated to explore Dinan and there are many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance
The hotel is very good value for money set in a fabulous location in the heart of beautiful Dinan. The room was comfortable with an ensuite shower and the double bed a good size. We had a lovely continental breakfast with croissants, fruit, cereal and the facility to boil your eggs how you like them! The staff are very helpful and friendly and we were able to reserve a parking space behind the hotel for an extra small fee.
Rooms are recently renovated with good taste and good quality materials. Very nice bathroom, all very clean. Good breakfast (more choice than usual in France). Very good location on short walking distance of the old centre of Dinan and its cosy boutiques and restaurants. We could have a private parking place nearby (not posh, but secured). Extremely kind hosts who provide you with perfect service.
This is a perfect place to stay when visiting the old city of Dinan and the villages along the Rance. I loved the flat: compact, well-designed, and thoughtfully furnished. It was clean, really comfortable, and in walking distance of boulangeries and charcuteries, a great bio epicerie--as well as the castle and basilica and English garden. I had a wonderful month! I would return in an instant.
A lovely renovated hotel in a perfect location - a 3 minute walk to the gate of the old city or to Dinan harbor. The best part is the young couple who are committed to their guests having the most wonderful time. They have created a charming place to stay, offer a delicious, bountiful breakfast, and provide an ambiance of warmth and welcome. A delightful and charming place to stay.
This was our first stop off coming off the ferry and driving down through France. It was easy to find and the underground parking made getting our luggage into the hotel straightforward. The historic centre of Dinan was close by for dinner and exploration. The room was comfortable with a good shower room. The breakfast was excellent, with hot and cold choices.
Isabelle is a very pleasant, welcoming hostess - her home is beautiful - we found the bed very comfortable & the breakfast was delicious - it's a lovely scenic walk from the accommodation, along the towpath, into Dinan picture postcard port, which then leads up into the wonderful historic centre of the town - we throughly enjoyed our stay with Isabelle
Good location, very clean, staff were lovely, unfortunately we didn’t eat here but other guests said how good the food was.
Little bus runs from port Dinan (over the bridge)stops outside Duchess Anne saves walking up the hill, you would need to check if this is for summer months only.large market held in car park near Duchess Anne.
The location is great, right in the centre of Dinan! The staff is friendly and we got to bring our dog for no extra charge (which is why we booked). The room was bright, airy and clean, as well as the bathroom. We would book here again if we were travelling with our dogs!
The hotel was in a lovely old building in one of the old streets of Dinan close to the port area. It was very picturesque, a very quirky building beautifully decorated and with a lovely garden. We enjoyed the breakfast very much.
Ghislan was a wonderful host; personal, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed walking the village of Dinan, our comfortable and modern room, and the lovely breakfasts Ghislan prepared personally.
Superb location near center of the city. Has its own secluded garden. Beautifully decorated rooms.
Owners have very friendly dog you can sometimes meet
Convenient parking spot on the hotel territory
Clean Comfortable. Welcoming and un intrusive during our stay. Convenient car parking outside. With in easy distance to drive to restraunts and supermarkets or the beautiful port of Dinan.
Typical Mercure hotel but in a superb location on the river with indoor/outdoor pools and jacuzzi. Within easy walking distance of several restaurants and bars and also the centre of Dinan.
