The room was large and clean, the weather was cool and the room was just a little on the warm side as it was in the eves. I'm a bit fussy regarding pillows and could have done with a feather one rather than foam. As the fete des Rampart was on the hotel was very expensive and therefore hard to judge as for this price we could have had a 5 star. The staff were very helpful and helped make the visit pleasant.

Sehr schönes Zimmer in zentralerer Lage alles gut erreichbar
Dinan is a great place to stay. There are plenty if places to eat and drink. The old town is fascinating and the castle is well worth visiting. There are walks by the river.
It might not be suitable for visitors with mobility issues. The road to the port is very steep.
Our apartment was on the first floor up a steep flight of stairs so, again, not appropriate for someone with mobilty issues.

Dinan is beautiful and we are sorry that we were only staying for 1 night as part of an organised event. We ate at La Terrasse by the old bridge on the river. The food and staff were excellent. We were able to walk from and to our apartment through the old town without problem. Just be aware that it is steep walking back up from the river to the pedestrianised area of the newer town.

Cafe culture, beautiful views, charming and vibrant town sq with weekly market. Tranquil. Too much to see in one day. Take a two hour electric hire boat with a picnic down the river. Eat Moules until you can't move and relax.

Charming place, especially the port.
Charming place, especially the port. No boats - while we were there -to St Malo because of the tides, as the river is tidal up to Dinan. The older part is almost traffic free. Fascinating shops, deli's, market on Thursday.

Loved Dinan, its so pretty , every street is pleasing to walk along, and has lots of attractions around the area. Plenty of great places to eat and drink or sit outside the cafe's and watch the world go by. St Malo is a 'must' to see, very similar to Dinan.

We only spent a day in Dinan as we were on our way home at the end of our holiday. Dinan is beautiful and worthy of a longer stay. We will definitely go back and spend more time there and in the area.
This quirky little pub/ restaurant set in the centre of beautiful Dinan was a perfect stop on our tour of Northern France. The welcome was fantastic, rooms were quiet and comfortable and the food was gorgeous. Parking was available in the square outside and the cathedral and tourist areas were only moments away

It’s a very cheap hotel !!!!!!!!!
Very bad smell in the rooms
No Air condition in the rooms
They refused to refund my money although I cancelled the two last nights and I accepted to pay one night only
Staff not professional at all
Don’t book in this hotel otherwise you will be shocked !
All the staff were friendly and attentive. We were in the new part of the hotel and the bed was extremely comfortable. The food at diner was delicious.
The location was ideal, on the edge of town for onward travel. Even though it was close to the main road it was qu8et.
Lovely hotel positioned on the La Rance river. We had two nice modern balcony rooms which were overlooking the pool. Great breakfast. Lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance and the old town of Dinan a 10 minute walk up the hill. Lots of free parking.
In the heart of Dinan's old city, Hotel De La Porte Saint-Malo is perfectly situated to relax in after a busy day of exploring. The service was exceptional and everyone was amazingly friendly and helpful. Thank you.
Great hotel.staff were excellent and very friendly. Rooms were a good size, bathroom was nice. Bed was very comfortable. We had a great stay. Close enough to the city center to walk, far enough away to be quiet.
Lovely hotel, unbeatable location! They were helpful with laundry, we had a cider nightcap one night. Just an all around wonderful place. I hope to return to Dinan and if we do, we will certainly stay here.
A fantastic apartment in the heart of old Dinan, ideally positioned for the walk into Dinan centre or the Port of Dinan. Ann-Kathrin is an amazing host and really looked after us on arrival and departure.
Modern hotel adjacent the 'old city' with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Excellent room and bathroom. Best shower so far in France! Breakfast in the morning was excellent also. Staff very helpful
Location. Only stayed one night, but if we travel to Dinan again we would happily stay in the hotel. Was nice to have bottled water in the room on our arrival. parking in the hotel grounds.
We loved the location of the hotel and Dinan itself is gorgeous. Also loved the garden with spectacular view of the castle. Dinan is a wonderful city and wish we could have had longer.
The location is outstanding. The hotel is quaint and part of the whole experience of staying in a mideval village. It was very quiet. I was sorry to have to leave after only one night.
Beautiful apartment with all the services we needed right in the center of the old part of Dinan. Hosts were wonderful and very responsive. Clean, comfortable, charming.
A very special location, and it was lovely to have the opportunity to stay in a home rather than a hotel.
Extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. Fabulous!
This was the most perfect location in Dinan, right on the ancient historic street. The apartment was very nice and well equipped with a lovely terrace.
