The staff were exceptionally helpful as my wife is awaiting a new hip replacement and they were fabulous. The location was perfect as was the breakfast. Lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone. 👍👍
Located on the seafront and featuring a casino, this hotel is situated beside Dieppe Castle. It has a 24-hour reception and a gastronomic restaurant with panoramic sea views.

Great location and suite. Reception needs to be more welcoming. Would be great if the staff recommended where to have a drink and eat or even upsell. Literally arrived got my key card and was sent to third floor. No literature in the room no offers no menus nothing. No information given on parking.
Hotel de l'Europe is ideally located opposite the sea and 350 metres from Dieppe’s marina. It offers en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Most rooms also have far-reaching views of the sea.

Staff were amazing and located right on the beach.
Dieppe is absolutely wonderful.
It was my second time this year and I have already booked to come back during the summer holidays!
The market on the Saturday was to die for.
I think it’s the biggest and best market in France.
Fabulous restaurants and we really loved the caberet!
Can’t wait to come back and explore more of Dieppe!
It’s the holiday that’s keeps giving.
The restaurant that Rick Stein went to Le Turbot was divine!
No need for a car you can walk around Dieppe with ease.

The harbour area is an interesting area to walk around with lots of restaurants overlooking the waterfront. The market on saturday is very good. We visited the castle which is a good value tour with great views over the city. Dieppe also has several other coastal towns within about 40 minutes either side of it eg Treport and Veule les Roses. Driving in the area on the D925 was very relaxing and quite especially compared to the UK. Most places we visited had plenty of free parking.

Dieppe is a town steeped in Medieval history and Gothic buildings. Cathedrals and churches which are beautiful.
Dieppe is very expensive for food and drink especially.
French people seem very polite and friendly and greet you with a smile...
The food in various places was a bit disappointing for French Quisine.
They do not cater for vegetarian diners very well...
I am an English trained certified classic Chef who was taught to cook in the style of French Quisine and as such was often a little shocked that pomme fries were served up with almost at every meal and a lack of vegetables to accompany the order.
No Dauphinoise potatoes or other potatoe dishes offered on menus. Shocked at chips everywhere.
I myself am a former professional Classic trained French style Chef
Surprised at the limited choice of Menu at the Cafe Les Tribuneux.
One of the most famous restaurants in Dieppe..
Overall a friendly hustly bustly little town oozing with plenty of charm good atmosphere & hospitality.
I would still recommend Dieppe as a nice place to visit for travellers.
There is a great Fruit and Vegetable market on Saturdays also farmers selling fresh cheeses and other produce.
The market also sells clothes and leather goods, bags & purses. Etc...

Dieppe is an unsung holiday destination.
Dieppe is an unsung holiday destination. The expansive Saturday morning market is worth going for alone! It has a plethora of good restaurants and bars (take a bow "Au Bout La Bas"), a beautiful and very big beach, a fascinating history, and a brilliant swimming complex next to the beach. It also makes a great base for exploring the surrounding areas and towns such as Rouen and Etretat.

Wonderful town with old buildings, a busy harbour and a fabulous Saturday food market. Excellent food everywhere especially if you're a fish/seafood lover, spoilt for choice. Beach is clean and pebbly with lots of snack shacks for crepes/waffles and more.

Dieppe is beautiful with harbour walks and beach walks in horizontal streets. The castle is stunning at night and the harbour lights are incredible. There are lots of cafes and restaurants along the harbour. We went to one and they were unfriendly…. Quay 11. Food was ok but kind of hostile service. Most folks were pleasant.
In the street leading from the harbour there is a lovely restaurant Les Tribunaur,, with friendly staff and easy relaxed eating and drinking. But lots of choices so shop around. There is a tourist train which is a 45 minute ride all around the city and up to the castle. At 8 euros it’s a great buy. Boat trips along the coast daily too.
This hotel provided a beautiful room with two large double beds and a great view of the sea and the harbour. The price was comparable to other hotels on the seafront here, but the service and welcome from the staff was far beyond what you might expect from a more well known chain. The buffet breakfast had a large selection from cereals to meats and cheeses. It was only a continental style breakfast so if you were hoping for an british style cooked breakfast then this is not the hotel for you.
We enjoyed the location of the property. It was by the port and by the seafront. We had a balcony that overlooked the bar and restaurant and the boats coming in and out. We could park our car by the hotel and at our leisure drive around Dieppe and beyond. We took in a lot of views and attractions. I also enjoyed using the spa pool which was available to guests, there was also a sauna and steam room.
We had a great single night stay at the Mercure Dieppe. Our room was great, with a sofa round the corner and the most comfy bed I had slept in during our week in France. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast is served in a room on the top floor of the hotel, which has an amazing view of the seafront and Chateau. Location is fab - really close to all the good stuff Dieppe has to offer
We stayed four nights in hotel Windsor. The staff are very welcoming, obliging and friendly. The location is superb on the sea front. We had a spacious town view room and everything was spotlessly clean. We chose a town view as we know the seagulls can be quite noisy but if you are an early riser then that won’t be a problem. Probably worth it for the view.
Looking forward to our next visit.
Very convenient location for what I was here for, loved the amenities (it’s always nice to be able to store and prepare food yourself and not always have to eat out), I did think the shower would have soap/shampoo. Couldn’t figure out how to dry our clothes. But having a washer was great. As was having 2 places to sleep. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m ever back in Dieppe!!!
Really lovely cottage-like room with a charming interior. Colin and his friend were very kind and welcoming from the contact day-1 till the moment we left. The location is very convenient and the detailed town information provided by the owner also helps to get around and enjoy the area. Wish we could stay longer. Highly recommended for a holiday in Dieppe.
Location on the beach, easy parking.
Very friendly and responsive staff (except one guy who noted a bit aggressively we should not have kept our room keys while leaving the hotel for shopping around, nobody had told us we were supposed to leave the keys at the desk - and at any rate, this does not deserve such a tone of voice).
Breakfast was nice.
Really liked this little hotel, so near the centre of Dieppe, excellent for access to the restaurants around the harbour and nearby boulangeries on the Sunday morning, to buy our picnic. Very good welcome by the staff. Unrestricted parking outside as it was the weekend was a bonus too.
This is the perfect spot in Dieppe. Great sea views and fresh air through large opening windows. Comfy beds and very clean. The owners are very friendly, engaging, supportive and committed to making our stay as comfortable as possible. They deserve very success in running this hotel.
Nice hotel, good facilities, friendly staff. As I was going off to France, I wasn't sure if it would be a good hotel or not, which is why i only booked a few days. As it turned out, it was a perfect stay in a nice hotel. I would like to come back some time.
We've stayed at this hotel before and have always felt at home there - comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a perfect (sea front) location for exploring central Dieppe. This time we splashed out on a "superior room with sea view" and it
I’ve stayed many times at the Egg. Very convenient and handy for the centre and for driving off into France. Car park right next door for safe parking. Excellent breakfast and very friendly and welcoming staff.
Cute and comfy apartment with all amenities in the heart of Dieppe. Steps to the beach, shopping, cathedrals, and restaurants. And, at the end of the day, there is a lovely, large bathtub.
The room was clean and the facilities fine. We were very pleased with the secure parking at the rear of the hotel and the ability to park there until we were ready to leave Dieppe.
